Learning a martial art was something that I really wanted to do, but was extremely intimidated to start. I chose Soma because of the excellent Google and Facebook reviews. After attending my first class and experiencing the extremely welcoming and friendly environment, I knew that I had chosen the right school. I signed up for a membership on my second day. I'm still very new to the school and to jiu jitsu, but I have definitely found a place where I belong. If you are looking to start jiu jitsu, looking for a new school, or looking for a place to train while traveling - I would definitely recommend Soma!

The kids coaches are high energy and start each class with a variety of warm-ups, games and drills that help the kids become coordinated and learn important body movements while having fun. They get great exercise and learn to defend themselves and respect each other. I am constantly amazed when I see one of my boys do a new move like they had been doing it forever! The professor and coaches are top notch black-belts and have trained many champions and MMA fighters. It doesn't matter how old you are or what your experience level, these guys will quickly help you improve your game. If you need to get in shape, this will beat going to a gym any day.
