There was a mix up on behalf of my mom regarding instructions, but the manager, Scott, made sure that a replacement hearing aid was located. He contacted me when one was found, again when it arrived at their store, and helped my mom get fitted and had reprogrammed her device. Very friendly over the phone. I would highly recommend this store and especially Scott if you need a hearing aid. After I called my mom this afternoon, she was so happy to be able to hear better with the hearing aid, and also commented on how nice Scott was. Thank you!

She recommended I not fill them. Later, I called a couple times to ask questions and the formerly nice nurse was EXTREMELY surly and acted like I could not be more of a bother. She actually said to me "Why should I tell the Dr. We're putting her through this?" when I had to ask a second question. I guess their mood in the office is dictated by whether or not they're making $1,000 an hour.

Back in October 2025 my dad had an appointment with Dr Howard I assumed to discuss the surgery and all the procedures but all he did was meet my dad asked if he was ready to do it dad said yes he's like nice to meet you see u in surgery. What??!! That all?! The in Feb my dad had a follow up on the surgery no problem. But we sat there he was 40 minutes late for the appointment and when Dr. Howard came in he just asked my dad how he's doing said you look good how's it going. Great good luck see you later. What kind of bullshit appointment was that??! Did not even look at the surgery site or anything just wanted to "see" my dad then the next day bill Medicard and us for that bullshit appointment. I let him know my thoughts about it as we were leaving. So pissed off!!​

IN SHORT: Poor & dishonest communication about appointments and procedures. Billing department…read morepretends to be kind, but does not listen or attempt to resolve issues. Saw Dr.Johnson & PA Jennifer Johnson, they were ok. IN LONG: I called to schedule an annual preventive well check & biometric screening (encouraged & 100% paid for by employee insurance). Front desk staff took my info, set up appointment THEN told me it would be just to meet the doctor. At the appt nurse verbally asked medical history questions & general health questions. Talked with Dr.J. He renewed an ongoing prescription. Then I was allowed to make appt for annual preventive exam. For the first "meet the doctor" I was billed about $370 (ins. adjusted to $250ish) for a level 4 appt. Called RCMC billing office about this, explained, and they said all they could do was "resubmit it to coding." Called me back two days later to say nothing changed. While I felt misled, I also didn't see any other recourse I could take, so paid the bill. When I went in for bloodwork two weeks later, I specifically asked that only preventive be done, only tests that I would not receive a charge for, 100% paid by insurance. I even had a list of what I knew would be included and even though they were doing more than was on the list, the receptionist assured me that yes all the ordered bloodtests were preventive. At the annual exam I was asked questions that I thought would turn the exam into an "office visit" so respectfully abstained from answering and once again stated I only wanted preventive. Over a month later, I was billed almost $200 for bloodtests done that were not actually preventive (ins. adjusted to $44). Spent well over an hour on the phone with RCMC billing & my insurance company. RCMC billing office pretended to be kind, but either were not listening to what went down or don't care that they're being deceptive & dishonest. The people (including a supervisor) at billing I talked to just kept insisting it was all billed as preventive (my insurance company said and I agree that most of the tests were not actually preventive), the test were done so there's nothing they can do, and the final "we'll resubmit it to coding and call you back." I'm thinking this is their go-to statement just to get customers off the phone because in this case it was not an issue of coding, it was an issue of honoring your word. They did tests on me that I specifically requested not be done and was reassured would not be.

Went in after testing positive for COVID while traveling far from home. They took me in without an…read moreappointment, and just 45-minutes later I was on my way to the pharmacy to pick up my free, government provided, Paxlovid prescription. The nurses and the doctor were all very nice and very thorough. Overall, the experience was quite good, especially given that I had COVID and no one ever made me feel like I was a worry to them. Since it was my first experience with COVID, I expected to be treated like a leper, but that didn't happen. It was a much more relaxed event, for which I'm quite thankful. I'm feeling better every day too.

I was rescheduled to an appointment days before my scheduled departure. Two business days before the rescheduled appointment I was again advised Dr. Weiland would not be available. I explained I too have a schedule and planned accordingly to get my health issues addressed before departing for a period of time. Unfortunately, everyone at RCMC and now Monument just don't have time address their patients. I get patients are not important enough and will address my health needs elsewhere. I am looking forward to Sanford Health.
