My beloved 95 year old godfather passed after a beautiful life. Look at the gorgeous 3d wreath she made for his box of ashes. She is a true artist, impeccable and has the heart of gold! ULTIMATE FLORAL DESIGN is the one ultimate florist to order from! Beyond 5 stars! I simply cannot rave enough about the stunningly beautiful flower arrangement I ordered for a friend's birthday. The arrangement is beyond stunning! I live in NYC and my friend lives in VA. The service I received from florist, MS. FLORA (yes, that's her name), was way beyond par; especially with my ordering via telephone. Ms. Flora went out of her way to fulfill my order plus arranged for my order to be delivered outside Ultimate's delivery area (I paid a bit extra which was well worth it). Ms. Flora actually cared about my wanting my friend to receive an exceptional flower arrangement. Know that Ms. Flora is truly an exceptional FLORAL ARTIST beyond any other florists I have ever ordered from. You cannot go wrong with Ultimate Floral Design and Ms. Flora. For my wedding I planned a tour of visits to multiple florists in the Washington D.C. area with my mom. We Began the excursion by going to a shop in Georgetown. It was a good visit, but everything was geared towards the typical wedding flower arrangements, and we spent the normal allotted time discussing mine. Ultimate Floral Design was the second stop. Flora spent the first 20 minutes of our visit just listening and taking in all the information that we were giving her. It wasn't until she started asking us questions that I realized she views flowers as moldable sculptures and canvas, as opposed to just arranging them in a vase. I am an artist and had been creating sculptures I wanted to incorporate into the floral design, which she jumped right on board with. She began showing us images that inspired a dialogue that turned into a session of brilliant ideas. It wasn't until we got back into the car, and were driving to the next place that we realized Flora was the one for us. We ended up canceling all our other appointments, and made our first deposit that day. Everytime we have been back to her shop for a consultation, we spend at least 2 hours brainstorming and discussing ways to make my flowers for the big day spectacular. After working with Flora and her team at Ultimate Floral Design, my family will never go to another florist for an event ever again. read more

Flora is the best!!! I can't imagine a better experience working with a wedding florist--she truly went above and beyond to make things perfect for us, and her arrangements were STUNNING. They increased the "wow" factor of every part of our event, and now when I look at our wedding photos, her flowers stand out in every picture! I had a pretty specific idea of what I wanted for my flowers, and I visited several florists who didn't seem to quite get my vision. From the moment I started talking with Flora, though, I could tell that she understood what I wanted and how to make it happen. She was delightful to work with throughout the entire process--very sweet and conscientious. She exceeded all our expectations and in terms of customer service, I can't recommend her more. In terms of cost, I'm confident we got a lot more for our money by going with Flora--she was very conscious of our budget and worked with us to stretch it as far as possible. In hindsight, I see our flowers as one of the best things we spent money on, because they made every aspect of our event more beautiful; all our guests commented on how breathtaking the flowers were. I cannot say enough about Flora and Ultimate Floral Designs! Flora has been absolutely phenomenal to work with while planning my wedding! I came to Flora with a very modest floral budget, after several florists in the area made me feel "less than" because I didn't have a lot of money to spend on flowers. Flora made me feel special and valued from the minute I stepped into her store and gave her my budget. Flora has gone ABOVE AND BEYOND to make my floral dreams come true! She worked so hard to give me exactly what I was looking for--calculating and recalculating costs for days to make sure everything I wanted was included in the contract, and that the cost did not exceed my price point. Flora also understood the vision for my wedding like no other florist in the area did. She listened attentively to what I wanted and recreated my Pinterest-inspired pictures in the most cost-effective way. My daughter had hoped to save money and make the table centerpieces herself. We were pretty naive and had postponed dealing with flowers until a month before the wedding. When we realized that we were not creative enough and the cost would not be very low once we included vases and flowers, we decided to find a florist. Our venue coordinator gave us the names of several florists. We contacted Flora of Ultimate Floral Designs and she listened to my daughter's vision. She sent us a proposal that was very reasonable and invited us to return in two weeks to see an example of the flowers she would use. We really liked her design. She helped us save money by re-using two of the ceremony floral arrangements on two reception tables. She even made the Flower girl's basket, hair garland, and my daughter's dog's garland. The centerpieces, bouquets, garlands, flower girl baskets and flower petals were delivered and set up a few hours before the ceremony & reception. The flowers made the wedding beautiful! Flora has been the single best vendor we have worked with throughout our entire wedding planning process. We went through 6 different florists in the DC/VA area before we found Flora. The others seemed overpriced and not really interested our vision for the wedding. They also failed to offer any creative ideas and told me to go on Pinterest. My first meeting with Flora was wonderful and has remained unfailingly kind throughout the process. She was warm and welcoming and genuinely interested in my wedding plans. She had a lot of original ideas and helped integrate them with my vision. She offered me a reasonable price plan that aligned with our budget. She also offered to set up an appointment where we could see sample arrangements for the wedding based on our order. Her mock pieces were absolutely stunning and they were exactly what we asked for. I was able to customize my order and the owner/florist Flora was very responsive and nice to work with, providing me with her email so that I could customize my thank-you note. I was able to view various bouquet styles options from her well designed website, and I felt confident that I was purchasing a beautifully designed arrangement from an artist with fresh and interesting flowers and not a "generic" bouquet. I always prefer ordering flowers directly from a local florist and not a national franchise service. With a national franchise, you never know the quality of the product. This is not the case with Ultimate Floral Designs. Flora provided me a picture of the beautiful bouquet the night before it was delivered, which was a very nice touch and reassuring- it is nice to know what you actually purchased. I have been ordering floral arrangements from Flora since my wedding in 2008. I absolutely LOVE her work and think she is a very talented artist; I always tell her to create whatever she likes. Not only does Flora work within your budget, I believe she really goes above and beyond. I just ordered flowers for a funeral including flowers for the casket and funeral home and they were without a doubt amazing!! Flora brings pure beauty and perfection to everything she touches. By the way she took an order from me at 10PM on a Sunday night. Her amazing employee Carla stood around at the funeral for over an hour to make sure the flowers got onto the casket properly. My daughter is getting married in a few weeks and she is getting all her flowers here. We first signed our contract last year and have met with the owner, Flora a few times to finalize the order. She is a very lovely lady, who has a warm and caring demeanor. Our experience has been amazing from day one. Flora has been a huge help from the beginning with everything from: helping us make decisions, providing us with so many choices, and her flexibility. Our wedding is coming up in 3 weeks and I feel SO comfortable being in Flora's hands! We have had the most amazing experience with her so far. Flora was fantastic! She took the time to learn about me and what I like, so my bouquets fit my personality and my location. The bouquets were better than I could have imagined! I was so in love with the flowers on my sweetheart table, centerpieces, card table and wedding bouquets, so romantic looking!! We had a memorial table for my husband's mother and she made it so beautiful and romantic and very memorable for everybody. Flora was referred to us for our wedding, and we're so glad we decided to move forward with her! She has been so helpful and patient through this entire process. She's very organized, and is very on top of her scheduling to make sure everything will be ready by the date we need. There are absolutely not enough words in this world that can appropriately express how talented, amazing, and kind-hearted Mrs. Flora is. Floral is great, sweet, professional, kind and works with you in terms of cost. She was thoughtful, with a great elegant taste, made time for me with email and appointment, and whatever I asked she gave me more. I showed her a picture of a centerpiece that was beautiful and was according to my tight budget. She made absolutely the same, if not better. I showed her the Prince of Monaco Wedding Bouquet and she made me even nicer than that. I sent her a picture for the groom flower, she made with no difference. I hate sending flowers that are copy cat designs - especially looking up a florist only to find the same 1800 flower home page just under a new name. This is why I love Bloomnation. They help me find flowers from REAL florist with the talent I appreciate. When I send flowers to someone that I care enough to send flowers to, I want them to have an impact. You cannot get that from a cookie-cutter flower arrangement. The arrangement that I ordered today was FANTASTIC !! I will be ordering from this florist again for sure in the future !! My experience with ultimate Floral Design goes back to almost a year ago when my parents held an engagement party for my fiancé and I. Flora(the florist) surprised us with beautiful flower centerpieces. I was so happy with the service she provided, so I asked her to do the flower arrangements for my wedding, and she made my day when I walked to the ceremony and reception locations and saw her beautiful floral designs. I'm planning a small wedding from out of town, and in an area that I'm not familiar with. I saw Flora's reviews, and after talking to other florists, I knew she was the one! She responds quickly to your questions, and makes constructive suggestions, while remaining flexible. Her prices are reasonable and she makes sure to stay within your budget (which was very important for me as mine is quite small). She has also been very reassuring. I went to Flora for my wedding flower arrangement and bridal bouquet and she did an absolutely amazing job. I had three free consultations before the wedding and she got exactly what I wanted down to the last detail. All my guests told me that the flowers for our ceremony and reception were incredibly beautiful. Flora even included a free runner and rose petals for our ceremony when she realized we didn't have one!
