This is my local Ulta and I'm very satisfied with the store. I come to the Ulta Salon for haircuts and color and absolutely adore my stylist. I've tried a few of the stylists and generally all of them have left me satisfied, so don't be afraid to try them out. The store is a bit on the smaller side but they definitely maximize the space. Very rarely is a product out of stock. The in-store pickup service works quickly to pick your items and have them ready for you. My only gripe is that the layout of the store is confusing, even after visiting so many times. It just isn't as intuitive as it could be. Lots of ample parking and close proximity to other shopping if you're looking to do a shopping day. Recommend this location! read more

So although this salon came highly recommended to me, it was a bit too far for me for maintenance cut and color, plus extensions. Despite this, Marta the salon manager whose Instagram I had stalked because of her artistry was willing to answer my questions about extensions and hair care overall. There's a lot to be said about skill and talent of her caliber, but even more to be said about a person being kind, Honest, and helpful knowing that they have nothing to gain. Very negative experience. Picked out sale items cashier rung them all up for full price how to correct her on every item while being given attitude about it. I came in because it was my birthday and very excited to receive the birthday gift after saying my email about five times and her saying there's not an account she finally found my account somehow but said there's no birthday left gift for me. Didn't receive anything. Didn't feel welcome or included very negative experience and will not be back. read more

I love ULTA, I consider this place to be a lot cheaper than therapy - so I tend to come here after a long or particularly challenging day. What could you need that they do not have here? Walk through the brightly lit isles and smell, swatch, sample your way to fantastic skin, nails and hair. The staff here is very friendly, attentive and no one hovers over you as you are trying to test items or spray perfume. I don't think I have ever come in here and spent less than 20 minutes in the store. There is always something new to look at, new to smell, new to sample. They have a terrific rewards program, redeem points for $$off merchandise. Last time I redeemed my points it was enough to completely pay for a full size bottle of Dior perfume. Seriously - it is free, join - they email you coupons and the point system is awesome. I love ULTA! read more

I am new to the area and live less than a mile from this Ulta, I am a Diamond level shopper and have shopped at many Ulta's all over the country and I have to say the sales associates at the location are The Rudest I have every encountered. I have always had great customer service in any Ulta's I've ever shopped at- not this one! I will never shop at this location ever again - I'll drive the extra miles to any other one but this one! This store is great! I love seeing all the displays of new products upon first walking in! They have every new line of cosmetics and even some indie brands like Milk makeup. There are samples throughout the store so you can test many things before buying. the staff is always well put-together and welcoming, I never get embarrassed when I have to ask a question. this is one of the bigger, cleaner stores in the area.. go check it out! PS. They take manufactures coupons PPS. The clearance section is NO JOKE! I get lip colors for $.49 and mascaras for $3. After realizing I can't afford Rizzieri's anymore, I looked for a new stylist and found Gina at Ulta, Marlton. Excellent in every way. She's a happy, extremely polite woman who understood just what I hoped for in a cut. It needed a small adjustment a few days later and she very courteously fit me into her schedule, without making me feel like it was a burden. My hair looks great. I'm very happy to have found her and will stay as long as she's there. read more

Free Standing Beauty Salon & Supply Store. Never had an Ulta around here until I would say at least 5 years ago when this one opened. They originated in Illinois and presently have over 250 stores in the U.S. There is only one of them in our surrounding area. I am not a huge makeup person (which half of their store seems to be made up of) but they do have a great selection of perfumes, fragrances and atomizers as well as great hair products. I usually stop here for those two items only. They also have a small salon in the back of the store . You'll find a huge selection of at least 100 different hairdryers, flatirons and curling irons. I checked them out once and thought hmmm...should I spend $150 for a hairdryer or $49.....don't they both blow hot air out?? Always quick checkout service at the register, always friendly, competent women working the register and throughout the store. Always neat and well-kept throughout the entire store. read more

I go to the Ulta in Marlton nj. Love the store the salon is great. my stylist is Marta and she is the best!! Marta is always very helpful and does a great job cutting and coloring my hair. Dana in the facial room is great as well. The staff is very helpful, the boots no 7 representative was especially helpful unfortunately I can't remember her name. If you have curly or multiethnic hair, consider going somewhere else to get your hair done. They are not respectful or inclusive. I have curly hair and made an appointment online to get it straightened. I texted the stylist a picture of my hair blown out to tell her that's how I would be coming in. She moved my appointment to the last slot of the day because she said it would take too long and she didn't want to mess up the schedules. I felt like that was disrespectful of my time, and made me feel like a burden that had to moved to the last possible slot to accommodate them. The second appointment I made to get my hair straightened again (one week later), they let me know up front that it would be $65 instead of the usual $30 because my service was actually a "silk press." I don't think they even know the definition of a silk press, as I was coming in with my hair ALREADY blown out. When I questioned the price increase, they told me that they just changed their policy in the LAST week. To top it off, when I didn't respond for 15h because I was working a night shift, she had the audacity to say she was cancelling my appointment. Even though the appointment was scheduled a week-and-a-half in advance and there was no urgency to receive confirmation from me. This stylist's name was Kristen S. I recommend avoiding her if you can. She was incredibly unprofessional and hostile, attempting to instigate an argument with me over text. She must have a lot of time on her hands. Clearly business is slow. The stylists do a decent job on your hair, but it comes at the cost of feeling marginalized and discriminated against for having a hair texture different than theirs. I would strongly recommend anyone with curly or textured hair to take their money elsewhere. There are many other salons to go where you will feel respected. I strongly recommend Personal Expressions studios in Haddonfield. Much more professional and inclusive. read more

She was by herself but she excelled at making sure everyone was being taken care of without making anyone else feel like they didn't have her attention. Ok so I checked in for Ulta on my iPhone Yelp app yesterday while I was waiting to get my brows done, and I was probably not as pleasant about the wait since I was cranky and a little hung over. So I wanted to come back and review the salon with a better attitude. I have never had my hair done there since I have a favorite stylist in the city, but I have had facials and waxings at Ulta by Karen the esthetician. She is wonderful at her job and always friendly, and despite my 20 minute wait for a service that takes 5 minutes, I was in a much better mood when I left. I am a client for life (or as long as I live in the area) and highly recommend Karen's services. read more

the lady at the cash register was curt and rude. did not get her name but she was wearing a hijab. I just asked if instead of crediting my card back for the amount I had returned if she can give it in cash instead . she could have said "i'm sorry but we only credit in the original form of payment." she just gladly said "no" without any explanation like I was a bother. i've been to other ulta locations here and on the west coast where i live (just visiting my kids here) and i've never encountered an ulta employee like her. she needs more training in customer service. read more

I go here a lot. The salespeople are very nice. They don't bother me when I'm going around and around the store browsing. In other words they give me my space, but are willing to assist if I need it. I mostly go here for hair stuff. I wish they had more Benefits and Two Faced products. read more

i was referred to this Ulta location by a friend. i got my hair highlighted and boy i could not be happier with the results! my stylist was Sue and she was so attentive, helpful and PATIENT in helping me create the perfect look! i was at the salon for almost 4 hrs... so this was not an easy job. i was pretty nervous the whole time with bleaching my hair-- but Sue nailed it!! got exactly what i was going for and gave very helpful suggestions since sometimes what you picture in your head might be hard to execute.. anyway, i was very happy with the whole experience. would def return for a touch up!! highly recommend! read more

I was in this store on 07/25/11. Our party forgot the $3.50 coupon on line. The girl behind the register gave the discount to others in my party, but said Lurac was excluded. After reviewing the coupon on line when I got home, she was wrong. She just didn't feel like doing an exchange and applying the coupon discount. Do yourself a favor - GO TO SEPHORA!!! I got an awful hair cut, one side was 1" longer than the other. Not to mention the stray 1" longer hairs sticking out all over. I usually go to verde in collingswood which is 2x the price but is ways done right the first time. My cut is simple and somehow they manage to make me lop-sided. It is too messed up to even try to fix at home; I'm going back to verde to have it fixed and will never come back here to save a few bucks. You get what you pay for! read more

Not only are they both highly skilled (they don't rush their work, they are very detail oriented) but they are also absolutely lovely to deal with. I like this Ulta. Ulta in general isn't my first choice of makeup stores, but it is definitely worth a stop. The hair section is great, and I like that they do carry drugstore lines within the higher end brands, so I can pick up my mascara and something more at the same time.
