Oh my, where do I start? I was excited for my makeup lesson and getting lashes. The girl that did my makeup was terrible. My foundation was very patchy. The blush was not a color that matched at all. I asked to show me a way to even out my kinda uneven eyes. She put a khaki colored eye shadow up by my brows. That's it. I asked her for something to even out my wonky and deflated lips. She followed my lip line, kinda. And the lip stain ran like crazy. (Pic is from the parking lot, not hours later). I asked how to help my eyebags and bags under that a little less visible. Even a tad. Nope. The girl was kinda judgemental and very unskilled. I understand we all gotta start somewhere, but i could've done this on my own. As a 55 year old, i think i do better then she did. Then was the lash application. She told me they would last around 3 days. She couldn't get them to stick. By the time I got home (went straight home, after my appointment at 230), one cluster was loose. When I woke upthe next morning, 2 clusters were on my pillow. They didn't even last 24 hours. Ulta did refund my $ for the lashes. Overall terrible experience. I paid for these services, I did not get my money's worth. read more

My body was hit by a car right in front of this Ulta while I was crossing the street. There are zero crosswalks. I had just spent about $200 in Ulta. I called the Ulta manager Kathryn, and she was unhelpful (didn't even ask if I was alright, which is nuts!) and then told me to call the property owner. I called the property owner, and they said there are NO security cameras. No security cameras and no crosswalks sounds like a perfect place to spend hundreds on beauty products and then get hit by a car! read more

I'll be honest: The bad reviews specifically mentioning Madie made me go to a salon that was much further away to get my hair cut. I wanted a pixie cut and some of the reviews specifically mentioned that she'd supposedly done a bad job at them in the past, so I got my pixie at a different Ulta location and it was great. When I was looking to get an even shorter style, the stylist I had gone to was booked out so I decided to take a leap of faith and give Madie a chance (mainly since that location was much more convenient for me). I honestly don't understand what people are talking about in their bad reviews of her... The first thing she did was ask me about what I wanted to do and she looked at several pictures I showed her and listened to me telling her what exactly I liked and didn't like about every single one of them. She was friendly the whole time and I am loving my new, ultra short pixie cut (which was a pretty difficult cut to achieve, but she did it). So please, take a step back and truly think about your own behavior before bashing someone else so badly on the internet. So I made an appt with Madi (their "Master Stylist") thinking I would meet a stylist with lots of experience...don't confuse a title and experience with a nice person. I'm 61 years old and I know my hair!!! I've had the same hair all this time. I came in with a picture (she didn't want to see it), told me that what I wanted would make my hair fall out!!! Horrible attitude immediately. I've been having my hair all over highlighted for 30 years!!! I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new stylist. I was shot down from the beginning. Final straw was when I was told if I wanted my roots covered, in addition to the all over highlights (duh, all over includes roots) I was told that would be an additional $70!!! Needless to say, I told Madi I wasn't comfortable. She replied "OK" and turned around and walked away. Wow. If you know what you want, go elsewhere. read more

Benefit Brow bar review. Sierra at benefit brow bar did my eyebrows today. She was so nice, But did not provide the service I have come to expect from benefit. Each time I can count on a brow mapping so the individual can confirm my shape and they know where to wax. Sierra insisted she did not need to map my brows and proceeded to take way more off and totally ruin the shape of my brows. Lovely individual but I would never let her touch my eyebrows again. read more

I love that I can find items I only buy online (and save that shipping and handling fee lol) like Pür Cosmetics. I like that you can buy items you'd find in Sephora or online only and also some select salons, and you can stock up on all the stuff you would at Walgreens (though I admit I usually go to Walgreens. I like their rewards program). There are still some things I can't get here and only can find at Sephora and the people who work here are so-so. For the most part it's kind of the place I just pop in and out of and don't spend a ton of time in. Unlike Sephora where you can just leave me with your cc and come back in a hour lol. Overall the store is clean and well appointed. The exterior is being revamped so it's hazardous walking to it unless you park right in front of the doorway, or get dropped off. I'm giving it 4 stars since I haven't used any of the salon services and not sure I would, and just because of the general feel of the place and people who work there. read more

Madi, the Master Stylist, gave me an absolute hack job of a hair cut. It's a shame that I had to pay extra for it because of her title. I asked for a pixie cut and brought pictures. She refused to look at them. She said "Let's try a Bob, we can always go shorter if you want to." She cut my hair in a very choppy way and tried to cover the poor cut by styling it with a round brush. When she was done, she asked me what I thought. I asked her if she had the time cut into a pixie. "What don't you like about it?!" she snapped at me. I told her that I would not be able to recreate the polished style at home using a round brush. She said"No, I don't have the time. I would suggest you use 'such and such' product because your hair's in pretty bad shape from lightening it, it doesn't even feel like hair anymore. But do what you want because you're just going to do it anyway." Funny thing is when I came in she told me my hair looked and felt pretty good. If it was so damaged then why force me into getting a Bob cut when I wanted a pixie? I was trying to get the damaged hair cut. Hello? I've been a customer of Ulta salons for 20 years and this is the only time I've had any issue. It looks like I got locked into the chimpanzee house at the zoo and one of them found safety scissors and hacked at my hair, blindfolded. You would think this woman had a personal grudge against me. Rude, unprofessional, and a very poor attitude. Save yourself the time, money, and grief and go elsewhere. If the master stylist doesn't know how to do a pixie cut she should tell clients instead of forcing them into a lazy cut that they didn't ask for. This is the THIRD time I've tried getting my eyebrows waxed and it's ridiculous. The first two times I've called and made an appointment, and they will call back days later and say she's actually off that day, and there's no other help because they fired their other girls. Then they'll call back and book for another day, and then not show up. Today, was the last straw, it shows how they are truly incompetent. I made this brow appointment 3 weeks ago, for this certain weekend because Im getting MARRIED. also, my eyebrows are microbladed, so I only trusted ulta. Apparently good customer service is hard to find. As I show up ten minutes prior to my appointment, I see my name and number on the book. They come up and ask me if I've been helped, then I hear them mumbling "I haven't seen her yet", talking about their brow girl. Then she comes back and said she's off today. I should have been called when you literally knew your schedule, or better yet called and asked to reschedule due to an emergency or whatever the hell it was. I'm done trying with them, It's NOT that hard to call customers and talk to them, I know because I work with clients at my job, and I make our schedule. Really bad about accepting the deals and coupons they offer. When asked about them they act like they've never heard about them when they are on the website and mailer. If the website says "online and in store" the sale should be both online and in-store at every location. Employees are also not very friendly. Hard to find help when you need it. read more

I love the staff here! I pop in once a month for eyebrow wax and whatever else I may need. Braden does an amazing job. You actually walk out with manicured eyebrows instead of a small strip like other places nearby. While it is a little pricey it's worth it. Especially when I can grab my shampoo, conditioner, and any other product I need in the same stop. read more

Wow. Will NEVER shop there again. Was attempting to find a hair serum and was wandering around. My husband was hold the bag. I had four bottles of perfume, a cosmetic brush, and was trying to find the Moroccan hair oil. All items were completely visible in their see through grey shopping bag. An employee comes over to my husband and literally reaches in the bag and pulls out the perfumes and states, " they are about to go off" and yanks them out of the bag and heads to the counter. This review is of the salon, the store is great. I came in to get highlights and the manager had a new employee do it and he told her ahead of time he did not know how. She knew the guy doing my hair was in training, despite my asking for the most experienced salon stylist online when I asked for the appointment. She gossiped the whole time about cheating with a married man to her other staff. Meanwhile, the trainee was glooping crap on my hair 3" from the roots. When I asked why he said "this is how it's done". I'm 33. I've been getting highlights since I was 15. This is NOT how it's done. When it came time for me to leave, I was crying and she was RUDE. I'd been there for hours and she said she could redo it right there and when I said I wanted to leave she just threw her hands in the air saying "well I don't know what else you want me to do!" There staff was so friendly as soon as I walked in and show ! Very mature, I went to the salon and Audra fixed me up! Every time I go into this location I feel like I'm being treated like a complete criminal. They will follow you around and look you up and down the whole time you're in the store. I work retail as well so I understand people do steal and they are supposed to keep an eye out but I felt very uncomfortable. I went in here about last week to get some makeup supplies for my upcoming wedding. I am not a heavy makeup wearer and knew that I would need help getting the items that I was instructed to get and I immediately asked for help. The girl I first asked was helping another customer at the moment, and was very nice and polite and let me know that it would be a coupe of minutes for she was already helping someone. But after that Mary gave me her best undivided attention. She helped me find the best, in-quality and price, items for my needs, and even helped me find travel size where I could since I probably won't be using some of the items again due to personal preference. I have come into this location before and have been meet with the general retail disinterest, which is okay if you know what you're doing, but I don't. So I try not to come in if I can help it, and find help elsewhere. But Mary made my experience so easy and pain-free that I am less hesitant to come in again! read more

I don't want to create an account so they can start deluging me with texts and emails. I told the employee that I had the receipt and the product was right there and that they had no right to keep my money. The employee pointed her finger at me and told me to "Calm down." Horrible experience! Do not go to salon there. It is completely unorganized. I scheduled an appointment online and when I arrived was told both stylists had called in sick for the day and there was no one available to do my hair. The salon never contacted me to cancel my appointment. I rescheduled for the next day and called early to confirm that the stylist was there and the appointment time. After arriving, the one stylist working was "running behind" and I had to wait another 20 minutes before she could see me. Mediocre hair cut and a huge waste of my time. read more
