Anyway...I've been getting my lashes done by Kassandra for a few months now. Having lived in lots of different places, I can confidently say that Kassandra is literally the greatest of all time. She takes her time with every single lash. Her work is meticulous and clean. The true difference though lays in her attention to detail. She will not stop until her standards are met, and let me tell you, those are pretty high. She's also done my brows and she makes my sad wispy ones look pretty damn good. The space itself is gorgeous, modern and clean. Parking is kind of weird, just drive over the curb! *Update* Everyone that performed advanced services is gone now. They didn't even have the courtesy to reschedule my appt when my person left. Fortunately, she reached out to me and took care of me at her new location. They also never honored their "leave a review and get a discount" promo and sold me expired eyelash sealer. Shadyyyy. I'll still give them two stars because the locations are nice but that's about all that's left. Nice locations with no one to do any services.

They offer a pillow to place beneath your knees and a soft blanket in case you get cold. They clean your lashes beforehand with a nice little foam and the whole appointment takes about 2 hours. Long overdue - Review of Beyond Wax Studio (2021 experience)…read more In April 2021, I scheduled a consultation with professional stylist Kandice Burley at Beyond Wax Studio. I explained I was interested in extensions for my upcoming wedding on April 24th. Because I had previously ordered clip-in extensions from BetterLength Hair with no issues, I specifically asked Kandice to review the company and give me her professional opinion on both the hair quality and which type of extension would be best for my hair type, since I wanted something more permanent this time. Kandice looked over my hair and the BetterLength website, told me the company was fine to order from, and advised that I could do either micro-beads or tape-ins. Based on her professional approval, I proceeded. Unfortunately, the hair from BetterLength was falsely advertised -- it was supposed to be 100% human hair, but it was not -- and micro-beads were not suitable for my hair type. The combination of poor hair quality and the wrong method caused so much damage that I had to cut off my hair following my wedding ceremony, before the reception. When I returned to the salon seeking some kind of resolution, the owner, Teneka, was dismissive, unempathetic, and unprofessional. She told me I should have had my hair done by an "ethnic stylist" (the stylist who worked on me was Caucasian, and I am mixed). At no point was this ever mentioned beforehand, and the comment was both inappropriate and offensive. She also spoke about her own employee, Kandice, in a very unprofessional manner rather than taking responsibility as the owner. She offered no accountability, refused to give me a refund, and when I said I would leave a review, she accused me of "threatening her" and even raised her voice at me. This experience was not only disappointing, it was exhausting and traumatic. I even contacted a lawyer given the severity of what happened, but was unable to receive help. What should have been a joyful preparation for my wedding became a painful and stressful ordeal. The lack of accountability, the refusal to refund, the offensive comment, the unprofessional way she spoke of her own employee, and the hostile response were unacceptable. For these reasons, I cannot recommend Beyond Wax Studio or doing business with Teneka.

If you want blonde in Crestview, go see Mai! I'm normally a dark blonde, and the fact that she was able to get me to an icy blonde after my first experience with her, I will never go see anyone else! It makes me self counscious about my appearance when I am in make up free. I have to do some brush to match the color since. I am surprised in the smiling face of her, she has a disappointed customer service. She never apologize nor made time nor offer to check about my eyebrow problem. I will not recommend her for anybody for her beauty service. She needs to learn about business service ethics rather than just thinking about money. She cares more about how much money she will get from customer rather than offer good customer service to make a lasting customer.

She then finished the cut with thinning shears. 70 year old military veteran, I have had a few haircuts - this was BY FAR THE WORST CUT IN MY LIFE. No balance, too short and left me looking for bandaids. My wife commented - who cut your hair? She said I should ask for my $22 back. I went to the shop in Wright - asked the manager for a refund - she said they don't give refunds - but she offered to cut MORE of my hair off - no thanks - I will shave my head. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT GO TO THIS BUTCHER SHOP. I have been there over 10 times - NEVER got a decent haircut.
