Sorry but the absolute worse Ulta Beauty I've ever been in as far as customer service. I went in excited about changing my makeup and getting their help to do so. I was there over 45 mins walking around not sure what I needed. I walked past one worker 15 times while she held her phone under the counter looking at Instagram. I finally asked her a question and she pointed me in a direction. Then I asked a different person and she pointed me in a direction. Finally when I asked for a manager the one girl was talking away. But it was clear neither of them were interested in what I needed. A group of them got together and were laughing at the fact they weren't working. But a good point is I made a new friend who had also been trying to get assistance but couldn't. We worked together putting on make up and looking in mirrors literally all around the girls who worked there as they stood around doing nothing. Finally a manager came by and was a lot of help. Seriously not exaggerating. I hope the manager looks at cameras. read more

My mom called the store this evening and a young lady named Angelica answered the phone. My mom was looking for a product. She left my mom on hold for over 15min. She never came back so mom hung up. I called after she hung up and The same young lady answered the phone and did the same thing to me! We really needed this product and while I was on hold my mom pulled up at the store and walked in. Angelica was just standing at the register chatting with coworkers. The store was empty and there was no one in line. She never went to check on the product!!! My mom said something to her and she said oh I forgot. I was still on hold!!!!! The young people this days dont take their job seriously and its such a bad look for the business. I will be driving past their store and using the summit location next time. There is nothing worse than bad customer service. read more

I haven't spent a ton of time here, but I was impressed the one day there was a long line, and the manager gave everyone waiting a little sample of a beauty product to try to make our wait a bit more pleasant. It definitely worked for me! I walked out with a smile on my face. Another visit, I had asked a sales associated for a recommended match for a medium coverage foundation, and the shade she picked definitely wasn't right for me. I had to come back for an exchange, but Ulta made the exchange easy to do, so I can't complain too much. read more

Got my brows waxed today by Blake, he does an amazing job and takes so much pride in his work. Bercuse does my color, but I tend to stick to the basics. However, I have seen some more exotic colors that she has done. If it can be done, she can do it. I highly recommend them for your beauty needs. As for the store, they have pretty much anything beauty. Depending on what day you go, don't expect them to be very friendly or helpful. The prices are reasonable and they have promotions often. Also, just like anywhere else they too have a rewards program. If you're on 280 and need fragrance, lipstick, shaving balm, a haircut or color or maybe a brow service... you should definitely stop in. read more

Valerie the stylist was EXTREMELY helpful! It's Christmas time, so I was fully anticipating the item I needed to be out of stock (even though online has it listed as in stock at this store). I asked other employees that were hanging out in the benefit cosmetics section for help, and they didn't so much as look for the item I needed. They said if it wasn't on the stand, then they didn't have it. They truly didn't seem interested in helping me at all. Valerie saved my experience. She walked up to where I was standing, and we got to talking, and she knew another place it was! Apparently it had been misplaced, and she went and got it for me! Literally an angel! To the other girls' credit, they could've not know there were some misplaced. Still, a little effort would've gone a long way. Thank you Valerie! You made my day! Side note: the manager seemed wonderful as well! I didn't get to work with her personally, but I saw her walking around checking on others and helping at the register, etc. read more

Ulta Beauty in Brook Highland is the best! I always go here for all of my makeup needs and to get all of my makeup products. Today I went in and wanted some expert advice on certain products. Asha came over to help me, my mom, and sister and she was so sweet! She has an extensive knowledge about every product I asked her about and also gave me suggestions when I asked her to tell me what would work well for me and with my skin type. She was so helpful and I left with the products I needed feeling confident they would work well for me. (I hate/feel bad having to bring makeup products back after I have gotten home and tried them and they don't work well). Asha was fantastic! They have a huge variety of brands from drug store to more expensive name brands. My only issue in Ulta is when I go I want to buy everything because it's all so great! read more

The Ulta on highway 280 is THE BEST ulta to go to. I had gone to the one in alabaster and it was horrible. The manager had no idea what products were hydrating, she had no clue where any product was in the store and was zero help. The girl who helped me had no idea either. I had to say let's try smashbox. She color matched me and had no clue how to even do that. I went out looking like casper. These people don't know anything about makeup and have no business working at ulta. So yesterday I went to 280. Maddison helped me and knew every product for dry skin. She was great, Friendly, helpful, matched me perfectly in infallible. I went here for a brow wax and then a makeup lesson this weekend after a years long struggle with depression, just to finally do something good for myself, and when I tell you guys I wanted to cry, I'm not lying. They made me feel so welcome and so loved and like I had friends (in fact, I know I now have friends there after yesterday). We laughed, shared stories, learned how to do makeup, and more. Even employees that weren't assigned to teach me came over and talked and hung out for a bit. I seriously cannot express how great my experience was. Any self consciousness or self doubt I had was gone in minutes after talking with and learning from these people. I went in one day to purchase a product and while I was there I asked about their salon services, specifically if they had a curly hair specialist on staff. The lady I spoke with said yes, that she was and I was excited to schedule an appointment with her. Fast forward to my appointment date - I show up and the lady I scheduled with was not there. The stylist assured me she knew curly hair well because "she has naturally curly hair" (but was straightened). I trusted her and informed her that I didn't want any products used that had sulfates or silicones and she wasn't very informative about what she was using on my hair. She cut my hair and then asked if I wanted it blow dried straight ‍ NO. So she proceeded to put a leave in conditioner in my hair and told me she was just going to let it air dry. Needless to say, I left the seat with wet hair that looked terrible once it dried. This "specialist" had no knowledge of how to style naturally curly hair. I won't be back. read more

I am a huge alter fan! I have had great experience at so many locations. I will say at this location customer service has been terrible. I walked around the store for about six minutes needing some help with color matching. All the sales associates were talking at the front not noticing that three people walked in the door at the same time and probably could use some help.
