Everybody and everything was great up until it was time for me to put my car on the dolly I had just rented. I was told I could not do it because I was a woman, and that only a man could do it. It was a man's job, and I needed to find me a man. So I let the man hook my car up to the dolly and not five minutes later the car rolled off the dolly through oncoming traffic and parked itself on a curb at a gas station. Fortunately, nobody was hurt and nothing was hit by the car. I am ultimately the one that hooked it up correctly and got my car safely to the destination. I let the general manager know of the U-Haul where I returned it, and he just stared blankly at me and said nothing. I've never been treated with such disrespect in my life. I will never use U-Haul again. read more
