Literally the best selection of whiskey I've ever come across. I live in Seattle and was in town visiting family, was told to check out H&H Beverages. So glad I did. John (owner) some how gets rare bourbons I haven't been able to find anywhere (and I've been looking). I mean seriously even online you can't find theses bourbons or scotches. John is super knowledgeable and helpful. I will be visiting H&H every time I come back to Abilene. A rare gem of a liquor store I wish I had in Seattle.

I'm from the DFW area and this store offers everything you need. I met and spoke with the owner for about 45 mins and his customer service is impeccable. Anytime I'm in Abilene, H&H off of Denali will be my go to. Oh and by the way, if he has store picks they are probably phenomenal. I will be coming back. Don't take my word for it, stop in!!!!! read more

This is our place for adult beverages. Wide selection, locally owned, and served. For example, there is a single malt scotch called Carduh. Hard to find, wife found it at Heathrow Airport and brought it back for me. I asked, and they finally got it and stock it. That's the kind of service they provide. read more

Incredible hidden gem I found while visiting from Dallas. Best selection of whiskey I've ever seen and competitive pricing. And the owner John is incredibly knowledgeable and will point you in the right direction for whatever you're looking for. He even gave us some suggestions on some lower priced bourbons that were a great deal. Anytime I'm back in Abilene or even just traveling through, this place is a must stop. read more

Was going through town for the holidays and this place was recommended to me... and it did not disappoint! There was a huge selection of bourbon and whiskey that I nearly spent 2 hours just talking to John about them all. I stumbled on H&H and what an awesome place to "accidentally" find! The staff was extremely friendly, had a working knowledge of the whisky I was looking for and even allowed me a sample dram! I'll definitely be back! read more

The beer selection is good. But the guy with the long hair that runs the register. That dude's customer interaction is horrible. If another store opened with just as good of a selection, I'd go there simply to not have to interact with that sourpuss. read more

ALL SALES FINAL!! Was lied to by management citing TABC laws that do not exist as a reason to deny returning an unopened bottle of liquor purchased as a gift for someone. Decided on a non-alcoholic gift instead but am now stuck with an additional purchase. No stated policy on receipt prohibiting returns either. From the aging barrels to hard to find spirits, this is the place to go. I had a special request wine; got it. A hard to find bourbon; done. I give them 5 stars on selections. But I have been there now 2 different times and the shelf price was several hundred dollars cheaper and get to the register and be shocked on price. First time Mitchners 12 year and today on Peers Rye. It's frustrating to think your paying one thing and get to register and price be a few hundred dollars more. O read more

I knew this store was top notch the minute I saw the bourbon shelves. They have a multitude of rare and hard to find products.
