Outstanding selection, decent pricing, great place to hang out, staff is awesome. I usually pop in every trip to Abilene.

They do have a well stocked humidor but apparently not a good smoke elimination system because it was smoky in both the humidor and the lounge. The one thing that would make me never want to go back: when we came in, the woman behind the counter made me give her my small purse before we walked into the humidor. First off, I find that insulting and in the many, many cigar lounges I have been in, I have never had them ask me to hand over my purse. The message that comes across is "you are going to steal cigars". Why would I want to give my money to someone who doesn't trust me? And it's a mute point that my purse is so small, I don't believe you could fit a cigar in there. We did purchase some cigars there but if I were back in the Abilene area in the future, I would NOT support this cigar shop. read more

This is a quality place! Everyone's super friendly and knowledgeable on the products they carry. Also the Tobacco is persevered nicely guaranteeing fresh smokes every time. The atmosphere is definitely hazy and if you're a light smoker it can be overwhelming. However they allow you to smoke inside and have an air purifier running. Also there is $2 cups of coffee available. I am now a regular since you couldn't find this quality anywhere else. read more

For a smaller town the lead has a pretty good selection.. My only complaint is when ya want them to order a box of specific cigars which I usually end up smoking pretty quickly they only want to do it if I order and pay for the whole box. I don't like dropping that much cash at once and buying a few every week seems to sting a bit less.. The staff is always friendly and call ya by name and they're open later than a lot of cigar shops! read more

A great place to chhhillll. The Leaf has plenty of cigars to choose from in their humidor and smoke them in relaxing atmosphere. The Leaf had the years I was there, a few leather couches facing a large screen television to watch a Monday night football game or an April baseball game. If the couches were full, then try one of the tables they had set up as well which was great for card or board games. Also, this was the place to bring all your liquor or beer. Such nice people there, and good products. But nothing like the old location, where I went almost weekly to meet with friends, smoke a cigar, look at new brands of products coming in, etc. Now, I stop in just twice a year or so, maybe. Tiny seating area, unless you pay for back-room membership. Again, very nice and knowledgeable staff, but I mourn the loss of the old Leaf. read more

Love it here. Very few places to get my baccy in Abilene and they are very laid back and even have some coffee. My wife and I like to walk here after date night and I can smoke my pipe and we both drink coffee while letting the long island ice teas from the Beehive burn off. Great way to unwind! read more

Went there Saturday while I was in town and needing a place to smoke a cigar out of the 100 degree weather. Told Jay I was from Dallas area and member of a shop in Richardson.
