had to try ugi's after reviews have raved of it being the "best kebab in vienna"! a small shop across the river that serves fresh sandwiches, wraps, and bowls with fresh ingredients for reasonable prices.
there's a few indoor seats and some outdoor tables, but most people were ordering takeout. prices are very reasonable, maybe a bit more than other falafel stands, but very good for vienna.

ugi's stands out to me because of their fresh ingredients. there's the typical doner, sauces, tomatoes, lettuce, etc. but it also includes some additional fresh ingredients such as mint, roasted zucchini, roasted red pepper, and a sauce that tasted like chutney. these additional vegetables really added to the flavor which i really enjoyed.
the sandwich is a generous size. the only downside was that the bread was quite thick and ended up buttery/sauce heavy at the end, but overall i really enjoyed my doner sandwich and felt that it was different than other falafel/kebab places i've gone to. read more
