Signed up my 5 y/o for the youth MMA program and I was still paying for my own gym membership, but I started taking the classes here (good family price) and I never went back to my old gym. This place is all about the sport, no nonsense. I like that - keep it up!

still learning how to throw a proper punch

I'm 40 something years old and have NEVER been motivated to "hit the gym". Until I found Lance and Co!!! The classes are meant for everyone at every fitness level. I've never boxed, I hate machines, I always preferred Zumba. Not anymore! Where are my wraps and gloves!! The coaches have a way of teaching a full class and STILL giving you one-on-one form training during the class. The classes are welcoming and we ALL push each other to keep going. Do yourself a favor and just SIGN UP!!

Don't go, this business is closed. I used my credits on ClassPass for this, and they didn't tell me that this place was out of business.

Kevin is the best. UFC gym has the best conditioning classes in the area. It is a bit pricy but totally worth it.

Where do I begin?!…read more This is the place to workout when you know you hate working out.. this is a team, a family unit - all available to make sure you achieve your goals. Every day is different, you know you're coming for a leg day(arm, cardio, full body) but you dont know how modified and interesting each lesson will be. No pressure, always quick to help, always available! This is something I never thought I'd say about a gym. I'm actually not even comfortable calling it a gym. This is my workout place where I have 3 trainers available to me through out the class. I was a sceptic (will I be able to stick with it) for about 5 months, witnessed transformation journey of a close friend. Now husband and I want to finish our 10 week challenge and continue on.. We have observed changes as quick as day 3 and 4 , week 1 of our joining in. Changes in our posture, changes in our endurance, in food intake, etc. I joined after a recent recovery from injury and I was scared but they made sure to give me enough options to continue my healing while being able to move a little at the same time. So go and try those free, no commitment lessons. I am sure you won't regret it. :)

I've been a member since 2021, and I keep going back. Partly because I've already been boxing for…read more12 years and have a bunch of semi-discipline, (lol) but I've also enjoyed learning NEW things, and interacting with the cool trainers. Primarily FFKK caters to the kids, teaching them karate and having summer programs, after-school programs, plus some classes where the parents and kids train together. But four days a week at 7:30pm the adults attend kickboxing/muy thai classes for an hour. They also sell intro gloves, leg gear, head gear and shirts, hoodies and a duffel to put it all in. They strictly prefer that all wear the shirts when they train. The black-belt trainer, Jerry is a great guy, patient, kind, able to train all levels at once. He makes sure your form is good, makes sure folks don't get hurt, and is very flexible with your decision to spar when you get to a certain level. There are sessions just for testing, and folks who perform what they've learned get a belt. Another black-belt trainer there, X, is a good guy too. He co-trains with Jerry and always puts an effort in and boosts up folk's confidence when they feel they aren't quite getting the drills. He challenges folks without pushing too hard beyond the scope of what they are capable of, and is genuinely respectful of everyone at all levels. Part of what keeps me going back is training with them, and actually learning to kickbox, not just do HIIT training for a Hot Gurl Summer. They respect the sport, and they help you to enjoy training and learning. I wasn't good at holding mitts or pads when I'm paired up, because I never had to in boxing. When we do drills we pair up and learn from each other. Folks learn how a punch or kick feels so they know at what speed or force to do it themselves. Yet no one walks out of there looking to fight anyone. They just feel they've learned enough to protect themselves and avoid combat confrontation. And they make new friends. The place is clean, bright, organized, not always cool, but you're gonna sweat hard anyway, so ventilation and a decent temperature is good enough. The heavy bags are quality, the pads well kept, and there are snacks and beverages should you need em. Seating at the front is great for anyone having to wait for you, or to put your gear or shoes, although they do have cubbies for that too. There always seems to be package deal pricing, and the prices are reasonable. Check em out and then go kick something.

This place and its classes are what is keeping me going. It gave me a sense of purpose and…read moresomething to look forward to. The workouts are great, I feel like I'm really learning here. The classes are 45 minutes (strictly while the summer camp is also happening, but once the kids are gone, we're allowed up to 15 extra minutes to get a quick workout in). I personally attend the morning sessions as I have to work during the evening ones. After each class, I leave feeling pump and ready to face the day. I have been recommending this place to everyone, and if not for you, then I recommend your kids doing karate here. This is simply a place you need in your life and I hope that everyone gets to experience it at some point in their lives.
