I was so happy to find someone competent to repair a marine anchor/thruster remote that was damaged…read moreby water (or battery being left in too long). He explained what would happen and quoted a great price. He warned me he couldnt guarantee it before he started (as I couldnt bring the boat in). I made the decision for him to solder the unit. I checked it out and for 20$ I have a working unit. Thank you

She just said she wasn't sure what they could do, or how much it would cost to fix it. I had a colleague bring in the monitor. She charged him $48 as a "deposit". He was told that it would go toward the price of the repair however; was NOT told that it was non-refundable, which by the way, it is. When I asked the gentleman about it the next day, his response was "I don't work for free". I guess good business practice just simply doesn't exist with this scam artist. As a business owner, if someone is unhappy with my services, I make sure they are happy. Even if I lose money in the process. The only way I'm going to establish business, is if I have the rapport with people to do so. If I have a repuation for being a rip off, I'm not going to be open for very long. I'm simply trying to save other people money here. This company wants ONLY your money, and not your business. He does NOT care about customers. He is in business for the wrong reason. In the end, he wanted to charge us $440 to repair a monitor that costs $156 new on Amazon. PLEASE, do yourself a favor and stay FAR away from this business.

I paid $60 for a diagnostic that didn't result in my daughter's desktop working again. Had to take it back and they said the CPU needed replaced and that it would be $150. We asked if they'd take the $60 off of that and they said "yes", I wasn't there when she picked it up and they didn't take the $60 off. Calling them to get the $60, they claim that the CPU and install was actually $250 and they took $100 off. BS. That processor is $90 retail, and they say their install is about $60. I hate people getting taken advantage of. They need to do what's right or I'm turning them into the BBB. They take care of us, I'll come back and revise my review. Dealt with both 'Kyle', and 'Michael'." In summary, I won't go back, but I appreciate that they did the right thing. Eventually.

I called 3 times to check in and ask for an update within this time frame, and each time I was given an excuse (i.e,. we don't have the proper tools to run the diagnostic, we are short staffed, we are slammed) as to why they've neglected my services, but they kept telling me "You will get a call from us by the end of the day," to which I never did. On one call, the boy told me that it was a motherboard issue and they didn't have the materials to run the diagnostic for it. Finally, I called one last time to check in and a nice guy spoke with me and was very honest in saying that there should not be any excuse for this to not be done, and he was kind enough to put it in the front of the queue (which made me wonder where my computer was in the queue, or if it was even in the queue) and it was a very simple fix (not a motherboard issue, as I was originally told). Cherry on top of it all, I was told since they had me waiting for so long, they would waive the diagnostic fee. This was not the case when I came to pick it up, I was charged full price for the diagnostic after being fed a line of excuses for the last two weeks about my computer. Will most definitely NOT be returning, and WILL be sharing my experience with UBreakIFix to anyone who seeks electronic assistance. Note: If you provide a 1-3 day timeframe, ADHERE TO IT. A 1-3 day timeframe turned to almost 14 days, be transparent.
