Aside from warm and friendly service, each dish was presented with a thoughtful, artistic touch. The restaurant itself was petite but the clean lines and laid back vibe evoked a design aesthetic that permeated through decor and dishes. Everything was perfectly cooked. The tenderness of the pork and freshness of the vegetables, fish and seafood spoke volumes of the cooking technique as well as emphasis on local and seasonal ingredients. If I had one knock it would be the paella was slightly too salty, but aside from that, bravo! We didn't have time to try desserts but if we ever come back to Figueres would love to visit this place again.

The price is really low, drinks are not as expensive as you'd normally see in these kind of restaurants. You could dine here for well under 10 bucks. Mediocre service…read more I've come to this very restaurant over 5 years, the first year was spectacular, great service with a personal touch, no mass production and, most importantly, good food. In the following years you could say it went south. Dirty plates, a lot of dirty plates. Before the main course you always get a plate for pasta etc. getting a clean plate is as rare as finding a golden nugget. Now we're talking hygiene I might as well elaborate. The inside seating is dirty, it sticks to your clothing, rather disgusting. Not coming back. The actual food, if you get the right dish, is not that bad. While reading my review, keep in mind that those are my experiences. I might experience them differently than you do.
