If I could give Metropolitan Appliance Repair zero stars, I would. I own a Bosch dishwasher in a…read moresummer home that is less than 18 months old and has been used fewer than 20 times. Unfortunately, it stopped working. When I contacted Bosch, they provided a voucher that would cover all repair costs and informed me that Metropolitan was the only authorized Bosch repair provider in the Mears area. Metropolitan came out and performed repairs, but the dishwasher still was not functioning properly. They returned two or three additional times and eventually told me the issue was caused by excessive suds. I followed their recommended procedure to eliminate the suds, yet the dishwasher still does not work correctly. When I contacted Metropolitan again, I was told they would no longer service the unit and that I should call Bosch to find another repair company--even though Bosch is covering all repair costs through their voucher program. As a result, I now have to start over with Bosch and hope they can locate another authorized repair service in the area. If they cannot, I may be forced to pay for repairs out of pocket, which is ridiculous considering Bosch has already approved and offered to cover the repair expenses. What makes this experience even more frustrating is the extremely poor customer service I received from Metropolitan. After multiple visits, no resolution, and being told they would no longer service the appliance, I felt completely disregarded as a customer. Their handling of this situation was unprofessional, disrespectful, and showed little concern for either the customer or Bosch's reputation. Based on my experience, Bosch should seriously reconsider Metropolitan's status as an "authorized" or "approved" repair provider. A company representing the Bosch brand should be willing to stand behind its work and make a reasonable effort to resolve a customer's issue--not walk away from it. I am extremely disappointed with the service and would not recommend Metropolitan Appliance Repair to anyone.
