First and foremost I love my new haircut. I especially liked the tea tree oil steaming towel towel on my head a neck. With a nice neck massage. Udelle greeted me with a very warm and welcome demeanor. Her shop has a really relaxing atmosphere. I'll be back soon to maintain my new style. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I came across Udelle's through yelp so decided to walk in and see if she could squeeze me in. Not only did she squeeze me into her busy schedule but she also skipped her break to cut my hair. Udelle took her time and did not rush anything and I left with probably the BEST haircut I've ever gotten. I've visited multiple barbershops in the Redondo/Torrance/Gardena area and have been disappointed time and time again. I always show the same picture of how I'd like my haircut so when I showed it to Udelle, she took a quick glance and went to work. End result came it precisely how I wanted it. Not only that, but she even offered my wife and I cold water to drink and tv to watch. I'm very happy I found this place and Udelle has just earned a new long-term customer. One important note that Udelle mentioned is to call about 2-3 days in advance to schedule an appointment. During my haircut, she probably received 3-5 calls to schedule appointments (not surprised at all). If you've been disappointed by your haircuts around this area, do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with Udelle and you'll soon forget what a bad haircut is. read more

Udelle is great. Not only does she cut great hair but she is very accommodating, taking a last minute appointment from me several times to save the day. She doesn't take many phone appointments though so you have to find her on style seat, https://www.styleseat.com/m/v/udellesun. read more

Best shave I've ever had. Udelle takes her time and does things right. She's very thorough and makes you feel relaxed with massages, hot towels, and after shave. I usually get razor burn from other barbers, but not so with Udelle. She's the best at what she does. read more

I love this place! Udelle is amazing. She always does a great job and never rushes her work. She helps me figure out what haircut to get and remembers when I'm coming back weeks later. On top of that it's always fun to talk to her. I deal with the 405 going from Sherman Oaks to The Valley to get my haircut from Udelle. That should say it all. If you haven't had a haircut from Udelle, you have to go and get one. If you have, you're coming back anyways! read more

Udelle's Elegant Barber - "Gentelman cut & beard trim" - Barbers Near Me

I've been going to Floyd 99 to get my haircut for 3 years. Even tho it was affordable, it always felt rushed and the quality wasn't the best. A year ago I finally decided to find a better barber and ended up going to this place. Best decision ever! Udelle is very attentive to the details. Most important that she listen and does exactly what you ask for. It never felt rushed, she definitely takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. Highly recommend. read more

I have been going to my barber for a couple years now and this week was just hectic; he is booked for the next two weeks. In all panic and looking like a hot mess I found Udelle's Elegant Barber here on Yelp. I am always hesitant on getting haircuts from different barbers because of past experiences. Let me tell you how wrong I am. I asked for a taper fade, and not only did she taper fade, shave and hot towel...it was a great experience. She's very professional, and makes sure that what you want, is what you want. I think I am going to change my barber, it was a more one-on-one personal experience. read more

I showed her a picture and she knew exactly what to do! She also takes great care in her work. she's made a regular customer out of me.

First off I'm not usually the type to leave a review . But I moved down here to Torrance back in 2016, and I've been looking for a good barber ever since. I went to one in redondo, and I can't seem to remember the name , but I told the barber at this place how to do my hair, and he says ok. Then goes off to cut it like his, and nothing like how I wanted it. It was overly aggravating. So I told myself I'd never come back to that place. The next one I went to, west Torrance barber, and there were 3 barbers there, 2 were busy except for one. I should've known hat I should've waited for the other 2, but I went with the one that wasn't busy, just so I can get it over with ( and boy that was a big mistake), however it wasn't as bad as the first place I went to, but still wasn't what I was looking for. And these places charged $30, before tip. I was reluctant to go to another one, but decided to make a leap of faith and went to this barber, I told her exactly what I wanted and really took the time to make it worth it, I really found a gem at this one, and I'll be going here from here forward. I don't remember the last time I spent $$ and felt like it was worth every dollar , but this place was. She did a great job, and I'd recommend this to anyone :) read more

Udelle is a perfectionist and really takes her time. I've been to many barbers over the years, but she is easily my favorite. I haven't gone anywhere else since first coming here a year ago. Udelle is the best! She takes appointments and works late! Very convenient and accommodating. Elegant Barbers is all about customer service. Clean and quiet location, and the haircuts are the best! Udelle is the best barber. When I tell my boys we are going to the barber shop I don't get attitude anymore. Udelle is good with both of my boys. I love how she takes her time and her attention to detail is amazing. She is a busy woman but still manages to get my sons in same day when I call or text her for an appointment. My schedule is crazy and it's hard to plan ahead so I'm thankful she is able to accommodate sane day appointments. Udelle you Rock ‍‍ read more

After going to many barbershops in the area and going through a couple of barbers, I am so thankful to have found Udelle!! First of all, her studio is very clean and inviting. She also has a large variety of men's hair products such as Suavecito and Hanz de Fuko. My first time there she greeted me with a smile and took the time to really get a good idea of exactly the type of haircut I wanted. Udelle took her time, I could tell she is very detail oriented and meticulous, which is something I appreciate in a good barber. Her skills with clippers, scissors, and a straight razor are beyond exceptional. After just one haircut, I could tell that Udelle is passionate about her craft, and really cares and makes the effort to make you happy. She definitely exceeded my expectations, and she has a natural talent. I ended up with exactly what I pictured my haircut to come out as, and mind you a burst fade with a V back is no easy task. Her prices are reasonable, and I definitely got what I paid for. Not to mention the hot towel massage which is just the icing on the cake. If you are looking for a quick, cookie cutter, mediocre fade, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a barber who will take her time and do a quality job, this IS the place for you. Udelle has just earned herself a return customer. Overall this was a great experience, I've finally found a proper barber!!!! Thanks Udelle!!! read more

Udelle's is my favorite barber shop always do her best. I'll keep coming back, best barber in Torrance!!

I have been using Udelle for over 5 Years. I met her at SuperCuts years ago and wont go to anyone but her. She's the kind of Barber that when you call to see if shes available and if she not, then you want to wait till she is. She cuts mine and my sons hair. The detail that she puts into cutting my hair is Above what you can get anywhere else. When I had to go elsewhere for a cut, I could ALWAYS expect to touch up my own hair after getting it cut because they would always miss a spot or my hair was too long in spots. You Can expect to get a GREAT cut from Udelle each and every time, Guaranteed. Thank you! read more
