One of the bartenders even shared a bit of the building's backstory: it was originally a house in McAlester, OK, transported all the way to OKC. It was an extremely memorable experience due to our friend with M.S. having a flare-up that completely changed the trajectory of our night. Naturally, I was quite coherent and spent a great deal of time tending to my friend. Only 2 of us even had a single drink, and we each have our purchase slips for our $12.48 beverages. Well, mine was $22.48 when you add in the tip. Honestly, I feel completely taken advantage of, considering that I tipped a generous $10 on the one drink item I had. Total slap in the face. I left the night with a relieved smile, not ever expecting that I'd be going through this later. As a former bartender and server of 18+ years, I do not take customer service lightly at all. I can definitely understand that transaction mistakes can happen--we're only human, but at least have the decency to own up to your mistake and make it right. Have enough care to at the very least, respond to a guest's concern. Don't, instead, try to pass off someone else's items onto another person. That's just unethical and wrong.

Before the tour, they almost lost a band member to a brain malfunction and still went on tour to keep the whole momentum of their new Playboy Manbaby corporation going. The band also accumulated many more fans due to my enthusiasm towards them before their set started. People were leaving after that one opening band until I handed them "money" and told them there's more where that came from at "the seminar." I'm still glad we all had a good time. And feel sorry for the bartender having a terrible night doing the bare minimum of her duties. I wonder if she went up to everyone who spilled beer and told them to leave the venue as well, or if she just really hates using a dust mop that much. I promoted the hell out of this venue with hopes of getting a good crowd together for the band. Now that I know people will have to encounter that bartender (who was rude from the first moment I walked up to the bar, by the way), I'll be telling people to second guess their attendance in the future. I've been to several shows there and I really like how the stage is now. The sound and lighting are pretty good. Ticket prices are generally fair and the bar prices are about average for OKC. I believe they are a beer only place. Parking is the same as all ways. For bigger shows get there early for the best parking. The only thing that bothers me is the limited setting. Outside of the merch tables to only seating is in the bar area. It would nice to have a few tables and chairs again.

I was lured in by the R&B they had playing and decided I'd stop in and get one drink before heading back to my hotel. Immediately I met Joe behind the bar who was so awesome and had such a welcoming aura. I loved the vibe they had in there and the art they had around the lounge. I came back a couple days after my first visit and tried their hookah and I will say the hookah was impressive and was producing massive clouds. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a chill spot to hang on weekdays and the happy hour specials are a great deal.
