We caught an Etta James tribute performance and it was absolutely phenomenal. The vocalist channeled that soulful, smoky energy perfectly, and the band behind her was tight and full of feeling. It's rare to find live music this good in an intimate setting. You could feel every note. The specialty cocktails matched the mood beautifully. Expertly crafted, full of flavor, and clearly designed by people who take their craft seriously. Pair that with the live music and the whole night felt like a step back in time to a classic supper club. Downtown Edmond needed a spot with this much soul and sophistication. It's a small, cozy venue that feels more intimate than a traditional theater, which can be nice for smaller shows and performances. The building has a unique, historic feel, although the seating could definitely be more comfortable. The theater itself is quite small, so I think the experience may depend a lot on the type of show you're attending. One area that could use some attention is the bathrooms. They were not in the best condition, and there was some inappropriate language written inside, which was a little disappointing. Overall, I'd say it's worth visiting at least once if there's a performance you're interested in. The intimate atmosphere is definitely part of its charm, but there are a few things that could be improved to make the experience better.
