After three days of searching for someone to help me with my lamp. I called Home Depot…read moreelectric/lamp dept...Larry said,"if you bring your lamp in I'll see what I can do" turns out he's worked for Home Depot 18yrs... he's a retired Vet/electrician he was my Champion today. He took my lamp apart & fixed it. He was wonderful. This man deserves a raise he was amazing!! Please reward him in some way! Home Depots getting my families business going fwd...LARRY'S A ROCKSTAR!

Home Depot has mastered the art of taking your money and disappearing the second there's a problem…read more We bought a water heater from them, paid a licensed plumber to install it, and the garbage they sold us turned out to be defective right out of the box. Naturally, we contacted the store expecting them to stand behind the products they profit from. Instead, they immediately hid behind the manufacturer and acted like none of it was their problem. So apparently Home Depot's business model is: Sell defective products, collect the money, dump the customer onto someone else when things fail. Amazing system. Truly. Anyone can make money if they never take responsibility for what they sell. And this wasn't even a one-time experience. Nearly everything we've purchased from this particular store has had issues, defects, or outright failures. Getting anyone there to help is like talking to a wall. No ownership, no urgency, no accountability. Just endless "you'll have to call someone else" nonsense from employees who clearly have been trained to avoid responsibility at all costs. At this point, it feels like Home Depot is less interested in customer service and more interested in being a middleman for defective junk while leaving customers stuck dealing with the consequences. Companies like this wonder why customers stop coming back and why people are abandoning big-box stores. Here's your answer: People are tired of paying premium prices for garbage products and nonexistent support. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

Zucari was a favorite shop on NW 23rd and then it disappeared. I always wondered what happened to…read moreit because they had gorgeous items, especially during holidays, and the store did great business. Well, due to some rent issues, they ended up in a shopping center off of NW Barnes. I happened upon it while killing time before a doctors appointment. It's still filled with charming items for your home and garden, most with an old world charm - think urns, topiaries, trailing ivy, fleur-de-lis, iron accents, rustic wood, arched frames and mirrors. Also lots of furniture from accent tables to display units, tables, chairs, desks and more. The owner is so friendly and helpful. If you are looking for ideas, seek him out! Items are unique and affordable in an array of price ranges. While this style as perfect for my previous home and garden, there aren't many items that work in my modern condo, but I purchased some gifts for friends. During the Christmas season, I bought giagantic snowflakes, candle holders and lit trees. If you used to visit this shop when they were on NW 23rd, take the quick ride out to NW Cedar Hills area and continue to support them in this new location. I fear they no longer get the foot traffic; this shop is so special, we need to keep them in business!

It was a great shop to grab a gift for my mom as she seems to love everything here. I would drop in with her after lunching at Papa Hayden's.... So you can imagine that I was happy when I stumbled on their new digs! It has the same great stuff as their old place, they have the space broken into smaller spaces and good prices on stuff. So come look around. The staff are always friendly. You know I will be back. It just makes gift buying to easy!

Filled with every imaginable item - small appliances, bakeware, dishes, wine glasses, kitchen tools, pitchers, vases, thermometers, muffin, tart and cake pans and so much more! Typically I shop at NE location but when I'm in the area, I stop in the Beaverton store. It has a large rectangular footprint making it super easy to navigate and find what you need or browse to discover items that you must have! The store is usually well stocked but due to pandemic, the inventory is on the sparse side. They had a large table and corner area with a 50% off sale going on. I'll be back in a few weeks as I'm hoping their summer outdoor dinnerware will go on sale. The light weight, colorful Melamine plates are perfect for outdoor dining. The last time I visited, the service was so slow. Unbearably slow. The woman wrapping my two dishes took painfully long. It was also the very first time I entered and was not greeted or asked if I needed assistance. Typically this doesn't bother me but this day I was in a hurry, did have a particular item I came to buy, but couldn't find assistance. There were several people working and were engaged in their own conversation. slow! One experience doesn't define a store so I'll be back when in the area. I love to cook, bake and entertain so Kitchen Kaboodle speaks to me.
