They have different specials throughout the year, so you pick. I chose the flower and vase. The flower uses a pulling of the glass and the vase you blow the glass. Our teacher was awesome. Very patient, very knowledgeable and saved my wife's vase from disaster (I got a bit over zealous on the blowing part). After we finished, they explained the cool down process (it takes about a week) and we scheduled our pickup time. The whole experience, for both of us, wasn't that expensive and we had a great time. My son was born a few months before Covid hit and so I was very nervous about his first preschool experience. The Gardner school made it so easy and enjoyable for him! I especially loved that all meals are included in tuition, and the teachers were helpful with potty training. This school is very clean and tidy, and I was very satisfied with the safety precautions they have in place (locked front doors, code required for check-in/out). My son loved the themed classrooms/hallways and the staff were so friendly and kind. My job situation changed soon after my son started at the school but the staff were very understanding and we were so sad to go.

My professors are behind me every step of the way, whether that be in research, filling in my knowledge gaps, or simply a ear to listen. The Psychology department is outstanding & has helped me gain internships every summer for the last 2 years, one in Ohio & one in New York. The opportunities I have at this school are unmatched to what I was offered at Louisville. I feel I know all of my professors personally. Smaller class sizes allow for a student based discussion approach rather than pushing curriculum. I can ask questions through lecture & I feel professors take time to throughly answer them to the best of their ability, ensuring I understand what is being explained to me. Whether it be extra study materials, additional office hours, or impromptu to drop ins my professors are always available to me. I find this the most valuable aspect of my time here at NKU. We have an extensive library, with study rooms, quiet floors, as well as social floors. The library as has an Einstein's Bagel which has coffee, bagels, sandwiches, pastries, etc. The rec center is state of the art with many classes for guided fitness goals, a huge pool (they even have lifeguarding as a class!), a hot tub, a sauna, basketball courts, racket ball courts, a bouldering wall, and an indoor track ! The biggest short coming of the university , hands down is parking. Other than that I love my school. #NorseUp

I knew we chose the right daycare facility when my son had his first febrile seizure on a Sunday. I…read morenotified the school after my son missed several days of school of his diagnosis. Juliana called me the first day he was back. She implemented a protocol that if he ever had a fever, they would give him Tylenol (with a doctor's note) and that a parent would have to pick him up right away. This past Friday, my son's teacher Ms. Didi noticed his fever right away (even though it was only 99.5) and the school notified me. I arrived to pick him up within about 20 minutes. As I was putting him in his car seat he had another febrile seizure and started to turn blue. I ran him back inside and Gabbi very calmly called 911. The paramedics arrived within minutes. Meanwhile several teachers came to help apply ice and comfort the both of us. Gabbi offered to come with us to the hospital and without my insisting we were fine, would have. Gabbi even texted us to check in with our family later that night. I cannot thank the staff at Goddard Ft. Mitchell enough for their compassion and help in such a difficult moment.

Mike Holtz has been the principal for several years and the school is not the same. It's not a special inner city school. It's just an inner city school. Students are rough and lawless. In these unfortunate times where schools have had to amp up security because of mass shootings, Holy Cross doesn't even lock their doors. They have a no drugs/alcohol policy but take a whiff anywhere on that campus and see how well that's enforced. I wouldn't send my child there if Holy Cross paid me.

After two years at MCI I spent around 8 thousand dollars and trained under Certified Master Chefs. :Since this is a community college, there is no school pride which is sad to see, a lot of students when asked about our basketball team didn't even know where the gym was. : Things to check out if you go there currently for lunch I suggest Bakery Hill on the 2nd floor of ATLC, everything is made there fresh everyday and the counter people are pastry students that really care about you, compared to the Overlook where the food is bland and way overpriced and greasy and the workers don't want to help you. : Also check out the Summit, it is an acting restaurant run by Chef Sean Kagy and his all student work staff in the kitchen and Donna and her all student wait staff. I would suggest going on Friday nights as they have had three courses plus wine pairings for around thirty dollars a person.

I called the bookstore on Monday to find out about the how and where on the parking situation. I was very happy to hear the parking garage is free! The garage is on #centralparkway at the intersection with #ludlowavenue. The employee on the phone was very helpful. I was told to park in the garage & go to level 5 for access to the walkway to the main building. Garage signs directed me to the stairs and elevators at the back of the structure. Upon exiting I crossed a campus roadway to enter the building. The building is attractive. It has high glass windows that let in a lot of good light. Upon entering there were stairs taking me up to the main level. It was here I encountered a friendly staff person. She gave me good additional directions and walked with me part of the way. The #bookstore signs lead me to the cafeteria and the #bookstore just beyond it. The cafeteria has plenty of seating with a wall of windows allowing for a pleasant view and plenty of outdoor light. Several students were using the area as place to study and read. Up ahead I entered the surprisingly small #folletbookstore. Basic school supplies are on the left across from the customer counter. There was one employee present who provided me with friendly service plus the short explanation of how the #bookstore was relocated when the #welcomecenter was remodeled. The #welcomecenter is the first thing you encounter when entering from the parking garage. This is a modern and welcoming campus. From what I have read it offers many fun & degree related courses at a reasonable price for the community.
