My son has spent the past year at this montessori pre-school. Before deciding on Trent I looked…read morearound and determined this was the best non-denominational pre-school for me and my child. The school is very up-beat, organized, professional, friendly and the teachers are all really easy to get a long with. My child LOVES it here and can't wait for summer to be over despite a ton of activities I've done with him, just so that he can go back to school. The other day I was telling a stranger about Trent after she commented on how good his reading was (we were reading a small book while waiting for our car to be serviced) and my son who is 6 and usually quite shy, piped up and said "AND it's the BEST school I've ever been to" (he had been to two others prior). It doesn't get better than that.

The teachers and staff are kind, caring, respectful, understanding and patient. The facility always feels clean and safe and I love how organized everything is (the classrooms, monthly calendars, payment portal, assessments, parent/teacher conferences, weekly newsletters, and reminder messages when there are special events/dress up days). We also absolutely LOVE having a parent app where we can get real time updates, photos, and videos throughout the day. This has been an around wonderful place for our kiddos!

I've spent a few months here under the Classroom Buddy program. Essentially, you carve some time…read moreout of your day to spend it with a kiddo that needs a little extra educational help or encouragement. You become their "buddy." You're decently vetted before you can step foot into a classroom. There's a short application process and you must be legally background checked (with the fancy blue paper background check, not just an online one). Once approved, you get a 5 year badge and you're able to check in to the school. I'm impressed with the organization of this school. I'm in two separate classrooms and both teachers are great. The kiddos are all respectful and care to be in school. The office staff, cafeteria staff and paraprofessionals are very personable with each kiddo. It's a lovely sight to see! As for the Classroom Buddy program, it's easy to get set up if you email the school for details. Even a small amount of time with a kiddo each week could change their perspective on many things, both short and long term. You can change a child's life. Yes, YOU.

I really enjoyed and looked up to all of my teachers. They were all amazing and wonderful people who taught me a lot. Some of them are still there! They have an accelerated program and a magnet program that brings in students from all over outside the Mt. Washington area. We were taught Latin in preparation for the curriculum at Walnut Hills High School even though not everyone went there. I also learned how to type about 60 words a minute when I was in the 5th grade, which is something most people can't say! This is a great school for your young ones to attend. There is even a huge playground in back for recess!

The school is play based, so the kids didn't even know they were learning at times. As a parent, my favorite part was being able to be a part of the classroom. They have it! They ask for adults to help with special events (talent shows, bunny brunch, plant sales, pumpkin night...) and the school community shows up and knocks it out of the park! The kids are constantly around teachers, aides, parent helpers, and other adults who care. The teachers want to see these children grow and flourish. I remember my wife & I going to all our preschool open house tours. Individually, we both just knew - after seeing the school and talking to the teachers - this was where our kids needed to go!

Agree with the recent reviews, pool set up has very limited range. Seems the instructors/…read moremanagement focus is just to get the child stick on same level as long as possible. They do not correct the kids during class rather just call out their weakness post the class which seems pointless for kids at that age. They stress on the fact parents learn the skills by watching/listening the instructor during class and then teach your child yourself during family swim. Definitely over-pricey. Feel being taken for granted and being used to the advantage there are not many swim schools around in area. Make up class process is so mundane and inconvenient.

If you miss a few lessons and have to make them up but cancel because you don't want to keep paying for more lessons they only give you 30 days to make up. The worst part is you can only schedule make up sessions weekly by calling in to check availability. But they never answer! And they won't schedule you in person. So I am basically robbed 100s of dollars because I won't have enough time to make them all up.
