He showed us several trucks and promised he could get anything we wanted from their sister stores. When my wife and I mentioned we might keep looking, he got nervous and said his bosses didn't like people walking out -- that he'd get in trouble. Not wanting to make things hard for him, we stayed. Later, when I mentioned going with another dealer, he went to management and came back saying they had a "better truck and better deal." Trusting him and management, I agreed to buy that truck. That's where the problems began. It took two weeks to even receive the truck. When I finally got it, it still had the previous owner's belongings, hadn't been detailed, and had several issues: Broken rear license plate light Missing passenger-side fender well No front plate mount (required in Texas) And later, the electronic braking system failed -- I lost cruise control on a four-hour round trip drive. They agreed to fix these issues after my trip. I brought the truck back as scheduled and didn't get it for three days, but the only thing they fixed was the rear plate light. I've been calling ever since. They keep saying they'll provide a rental car so they can replace the fender well (which they now have in stock) and inspect the electronic braking system -- but no one ever calls back. Every time, it's the same story: "We'll call you when the rental's ready." That call never comes. It's been almost four months, and nothing has been resolved. I've been patient and understanding, but this dealership's lack of communication and accountability is unbelievable. If you're considering buying from Classic Dodge & Chrysler, please get every promise in writing. Don't make the same mistake I did by trusting their word.

I have a place out this way that I visit once in a while, so I'm passing right by. I love how clean and organized this place is. I'm in and out rather fast compared to other recyclers Iv been to. This is the most organized recycling place iv ever used. It was much better than dealing with the clutter packed yards in DFW where I get flat tires and have to wait in lines for hours to get unloaded. Looking forward to going to the pickers side one day. Just don't need any parts right yet.

Secondly they devalued my car so much…read more They damaged my car during transportation, and had to replace one of the roof rails which they did with a cheap replacement. The body shop they sent my car to absolutely trashed my car with it being littered with dirt after I had it professionally cleaned, they scratched my new car mats I had installed myself, black finger prints littered up and down the headliner, and they deeply scratched my car along the drivers side that they couldn't even buff out. To add to it, I was a couple days postpartum having to go through this and see my beautiful new car getting completely trashed. They offered to send my car back to the body shop to have them clean it, and after it was returned the car was still dirty, there were still black fingerprints all over my headliner, my mats were still scratched up, and the deep scratches were still there because they were so deep. This went on for over a month, and I regret it to this day trusting this place with my car. I hate this Carmax and the experience they gave me. And Nick will absolutely screw you over and have an attitude about you being upset that your car was devalued.

My initial thoughts was that the online offer was bogus in some way. Well after getting low-balled by some of the local dealers, I decided to try and see what Carmax had. My sales agent was Ozzy. He was awesome. From the time I walked into the store, I felt welcome. I have read all of the negative reviews left on here, but my experience was exactly the opposite. It was serious no hassle, sign here, and here's your check. They didn't try to change the offer, it was absolutely amazing. It makes me realize that the so called "friendly" dealers were all about how they can rip you off, compared to how the folks at Carmax handled themselves in such a professional manner. Shout out to Ozzy and his Manager Nick. Thank you for such a positive experience.
