Test drove a used vehicle being run on "special". Fell in love with it and put a deposit on it…read more When I got home from work that day I submitted a credit application online as requested. Got a call saying car was too old to finance...only a few companies would offer financing and that the interest rate would be high. Surely they (as car dealers) would have known this...why not tell me so UP FRONT instead of "pinging" my credit and causing my credit score to go down? Salesperson then tried to up-sell me to newer (more expensive) vehicle. I don't know...but felt like a classic "bait and switch" to me. Doubt I will ever go back there unless I have cash in hand to buy a vehicle. By the way...the vehicle was priced $1200 over N.A.D.A. (J.D.Powers) value. So before you buy ANY vehicle ANYWHERE...know its value! You can find this out by searching online...in the search bar put in "nada" followed by the year, make, and model of the vehicle you're looking at. Then click on the NADA links shown for your vehicle. It will show you "trade in" and "retail" values of the vehicle you're interested in. Its also a good idea to do a "search" by typing in "car complaints" followed by the year, make and model of the vehicle you're interested in. The Car Complaints website will show you a detailed list of problems with that vehicle and it even shows the best and worst years for that particular make and model. Good luck.

He was able to answer all of our questions and made sure we got the best bang for the buck. He didn't pressure or do the typical "salesman" act on us. There was a recall that prevented us from purchasing same day but kept us updated every chance he could. Once the recall was completed and clear for purchase, he called me right away (8am) to let me know and I rushed right over! The building is clean and quiet, which I like, and all the staff that walked by were friendly and kind. Financing department was great and quick to verify and address any questions or concerns I had. They even do DV/MH tags too which is amazing. Saves me a trip to the DMV! Best car buying experience I ever had. AND they got me a great price for my trade in! Better than I thought I would have gotten. I was shown how to work all the new technology (my old vehicle isn't as advanced) and helped me set up my CarPlay and showed me all the hidden features. They took their time and didn't rush me when I began to "fiddle" with the new vehicle stuff.

I would rate this place lower than a 1 star if I could. The service department at Wray ford was…read moreterrible. I brought my ford escape I recently bought up there for a simple check engine light and an AWD fault. The first go around they had my car for over a week and when I asked them what progress they made on it, their response was they got the AWD light to come on while test driving it. That's why I brought it up there? Anyways, I needed my car back for work so I came and got it; they didn't charge me at the time and left the WO open. Meanwhile I did pull the DTCs to make sure it wasn't anything serious. Codes were for the EGR high flow rate detected and AWD Actuator stuck. I brought the car back up to them a second time and dealt with James Cassell as my service writer. This go around they had my car for over a month. I felt like my car was being pushed to bottom of their priority list due to it being under warranty. I had to call up there every day to see if there were any updates and got none. One time I called and James told me the guy was out sick. They had no one to look at my car in the mean time. That lasted about 2 days. Another thing was sometimes I could get a hold of someone and then sometimes I could not. Regardless, their service writer did not call me once with any updates. When I finally got my car back, they've done replaced the AWD actuator and the car battery; even though the battery was replaced when I bought the car which was a few months ago. Replacement was noted on the carfax. However, I believed them if that was the issue for the check engine light. While driving it home, both the AWD light and check engine light came back on. I called James and told him. However, I needed my car and would bring it back up there when I could. I pulled DTCs again and found the same codes active; the AWD actuator stuck and the EGR high flow rate code. The third time I brought it up there, the car was up there for over 2 months. Every time I called for updates I was getting excuses and the technician was "checking the wires" or "trying to figure it out" or he had no clue where he was at on the vehicle. Then the technician working on my car took a week vacation and, again, they wouldn't assign another tech to look at my vehicle. So my car sat up there for a week not being worked on. The last week I called about it, James mentioned they were going to replace the AWD module. Yet, this was on a Friday and they had the part. I was told the part couldn't be installed because The technician took off again for the whole day. Monday came around and they replaced the module. However, they could not test drive it because the person that test drives cars was not there. The following day when it was test driven, the AWD fault reappeared. When I asked about the check engine light, he said that both issues were tied together. They were NOT. The sad part is he mentioned it in the first week up there working on it there was a fault about the EGR. Idk if this was fabricated to get the warranty company to pay for this but that's what I was told. The last thing James told me was they had no clue what else could be wrong; that the tech was in contact with Ford about the issue. Why did they wait this long to do this? Frustrated I told them I'm coming to get my car to bring it elsewhere. Then he wanted me to pay a deductible; on a COMEBACK. It was the same code same issue and yet his excuse was it was a different part. This is not only downright unethical but against ford workmanship warranty policy. Most dealerships or any auto shop back their work regardless of misdiagnosis. If it comes back with the EXACT same code or symptoms, customer shouldn't pay any deductible. However, I needed my car back so we ended up paying it. It seems they wouldn't release it back to me if I didn't and the service manager wasn't there to talk about the issue. We will be reporting this to federal business bureau and will be leaving negative reviews on all their platforms to save people from this stealership.
