The exterior is a long cream brick and stone building with dozens of large windows that expand across the front of the entire building. The wood paneling inside is very 60's, but has those cool vintage brass P.O. Boxes. The dedication plaque marks the post office's opening in 1962. There's a gift card kiosk, neatly organized shopping supplies, some holiday mailing items, and a greeting card display. The post office gentleman that I spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful! He chatted with me and other customers like neighbors, all the while being efficient and polite. He stamped my postcard and even took a selfie with me! Great visit! And they have passport services! Handicapped accessible and plenty of parking. Hours M-F 8:00-5:00, Saturday 9:00-11:00

When I called, the person I talked to said it was probably due to not having any mail to deliver to my address. That's no excuse for not doing your job, it makes no difference if I have incoming mail or not, you still need to check if I have outgoing mail. This is not the first time that I have seen our mail carrier do this, it is almost a monthly thing with her. The post mistress said that it would not happen again, I guess that she lied to me.

Surprise, surprise- nothing has changed in 3+ months. If I have a package coming that's bigger than…read moremy mailbox, the carrier refuses to bring it to my house and takes it back to the post office. The delivery will say "mailbox too full" when my mailbox is empty, but the point is the box/parcel won't fit in the mailbox and they just continue to refuse to do the job they're being paid to do. It's sad. I mentioned GPS in my original post... probably because every adult human who has a job has a smart phone that has access to GPS. As many times as I see USPS employees using smart phones to call and text (especially while driving on their routes), you'd think they could use the Map apps on their phone to figure out where someone lives. But somehow that's too much to hope for or expect. In an attempt to solve the situation, I made waterproof signs that describe where I live and what my house looks like, and on the first business day after attaching them to my mailbox, the carrier (if not multiple carriers) ripped my signs off my mailbox (a federal offense), damaged my signs (which are my personal property), and left ugly notes. My neighbor doesn't care that I turn his box to the side... he literally doesn't live there and has said so himself. His post doesn't get moved and he has no issue with what I do. But let's not shift the focus away from the actual issue: please do your flipping job. I took these signs and notes to the post office and stated I wanted to report the carrier. The assistant post mistress said she's not the boss (she tells everyone that she is with her own mouth, so she needs to make up her own mind) and I could come back later to see if I could hunt the boss down. So I went home and reported the carriers and post office online... just for nothing to be solved. USPS has gone down the toilet. I've started sending my packages elsewhere since my carriers don't know how to read numbers and letters, or use a smart phone.

USPS - Keysville - I didn't "loose" my parcel, they're right... but they LOSE my parcels nonstop and deliver them to the wrong addresses.

USPS - Keysville - My name is on my mail and they still can't spell it correctly. It's not surprising.
