I have had to use vacation time to pick up mail that they didn't deliver for some unknown reason. Some packages they decide to deliver, some they don't, it is about half and half which is a bit ridiculous.

He greeted me with a welcome smile and a hearty "how can I help you?" He have me a short history of the post office and I was pleased as punch to have found this cute post office in the Outer Banks ! It was not only immaculate, but it was stocked to the gills with shelves of envelopes, boxes and packing needs! There was a display of greeting cards and gift cards too. There is also a passport service here which is not typical of these smaller post offices! I love the to colorful OBX mural featuring the Cape Hatteras lighthouse. There's a slew of P.O. Boxes lined down a tidy hallway that was neat as a pin! I must say, this post office rules! And the palm tree out front made me happy as a clam! This Buxton post office is first class all the way! They should be proud as a peacock for this top notch business!

I had a package go missing and when the post master called me back after a week, she basically told me that there is nothing they can do cause it was a substitute driver. Then told me to call the company and they would have to replace my items. WELL, the company did their job. The post office has a job to get what I have ordered to me, ALL IN ONE PIECE AND ON TIME! I will be going up to the location at the end of the week for answers and a solution. If I don't get the answer that I am looking for, I will have to go above the post master. This historic building is home to Maple, NC United States Post Office and it's buzzing with…read moreexcitement, but not like you may think! A cute building with a flag flying is sure to catch my eye as I'm traveling, and I had to stop and research this beaut while heading home from OBX. Maple is a township, an unincorporated community in Currituck County, north of Coinjock. The tiny trailer-like white structure with the bright blue door and access ramp immediately made us pull over and take a closer look! As I walked up the wooden steps, much to my surprise, a swarm of bees encircled me, but not before I snapped a few photos! I also saw several hornets nest and spider webs along the eaves. Critters everywhere! As I dodged those busy bees, I noted the hours were M-F 12-4, Sat 8:00-10:30. Serving about 300+ residents in this sleepy hamlet, many services are limited, but stamps, packages and mail delivery, the basics, can be found here. With all the buzz circling around this unique little post office, may you escape without a sting! Here's hoping they sweep the place from pesky intruders and send those bees packing! Next time I'm heading down to OBX, I'll be sure to stop again and check this P.O. out further!

I had to print my packing slips so I had sent them through their website but didn't get a confirmation so I went ahead and went up to the store and inquired and they found them printed them out immediately for me and then help me get everything shipped out and save me a lot of money. I would definitely come back to this place and highly recommend them.
