I forgot to drop it off before we left, so when we drove through on May 27, 2025, I just followed the sign to the post office there in Kenedy, TX. Parking was available on the side of the building or street parking. The building smelled a bit musty, but it looked fairly old too. By the time we made it home a few days later, our letter was waiting in the mailbox. Pretty good for a small town in the US.

What happened to their mission statement? The rain sleet or snow the mail will be delivered. We need to get rid of these waste of human flesh and replace them with actual workers or computers and robots. If Amazon can deliver packages and stuff remotely with a robot why can't we do the same with the post office? Obviously these people are interested in keeping their jobs. No wonder president Trump is thinking about shutting down the post office and making it a private entity. Something needs to be done this place has a 2.3 rating I can't even give it a one star. I'm thoroughly disgusted with the service that I don't receive from this place. The bottom line is they don't care.

I filed claim and was told it would take 2 or 3 days to investigate but…read morethat no one ever answers the phone in San antonio so they would not be able to let me know outcome except to watch tracking if it moved or not. so after 9 days of it not moving I went to post office to get my reimbursed and supervisor at victoria tx said that for 9 days it has been in route that it was not lost. that sometimes it takes 2 or 3 more weeks in addition to the 9 days to get to location and it won't show on tracking. i spent 17 dollars to get it there faster I am sending specimen for my ill husband and he says I just need to wait another month!!!!. don't send any package thru united States postal service because no one cares about your package. plus I waited 45 minutes in the heat to speak to the supervisor.
