Not that they are slow, if you need to get through fast I think the smaller post offices are faster than the larger ones because of shorter lines and more efficient processes developed out of necessity. Let's not ignoring you as you stare through the glass and eventually yelled at "new COVID hours" and "weopen tomorrow at 9" and then they go back to pretending you don't exist. Literally all I needed to was hand them a pre paid package. Would have taken 30 seconds. UPS - hire some decent folks. Garbage at this location. Update: so I revisited the store during the regular store hours. I wanted to go to another store but it was far away. When I arrived there was a very long line and I thought "great, another reason why I was right to be so hard on them the day before". I really didn't want to have to use this location again. However, the staff was working without issues and being attentive to customers. One clerk saw my lengthy returns and walked me inside to what I assume is an amazon express lane - it took about 5 mins to return it all as I had the forms on hand. I retract my experience from the day before and raise it to a 3. I needed a mailer package and it took about 15 mins to pay for a $1.50 item. Too long but I don't think they staff was intentionally moving slow - just accommodating customers. Not bad .

In the last couple years they added a package drop box which makes it easier for dropping off prepaid postage packages. Yesterday when I was in, the line had 8-10 people in it and there was an employee standing by the counter line with a scanner. I had a prepaid postage item so he was able to scan and get me a receipt without waiting in line. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the hours are not convenient for patrons, 10-430 on weekdays makes it hard for first shift employees to get in and they're only open 2 hours on Saturday. Other than that, they are top notch and always super helpful!

Everything is really easily laid out for you. When you see the person at the passport office, you are then directed to the main area of the Post Office itself to purchase a money order and envelope. Even bigger than this stylish looking building is the heart of the people who are working there. They are courageous, engaged and interested. They know their customers and they know their stuff! I had just left my mother's house and foolishly forgot to give her back her handicapped parking badge. Already more than an hour a way I could not easily get back. I pulled into Selma at 4:45PM and by 4:50PM I was on line at the Post Office. Shipping rates, particularly on the Flat-Rate envelopes and boxes, are extremely wallet-friendly. No matter how heavy, you play one price. I paid less than a THIRD of what UPS quoted me for one paricular shipment and it arrived to my friend in Arizona in 3 days instead of the 7-10 ground travel window. Staff are friendly and helpful even when you can tell they're majorly stressed.
