In addition, I have sent and received lots and lots of parcels through this office. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful, they remember who I am, and keep an eye out for my mail when it gets routed incorrectly. They also really know their stuff. One Christmas I mailed out over 400 cards and had somehow put the wrong postage on ALL of them, the post office called me to let me know, they pulled them all out of the out going mail and allowed me to stamp them correctly so they could go out without being cancelled and returned for insufficient postage. Thank Heaven for this small town post office with small town friendly folks there.

I have a block style mailbox so the courier has to pay attention to what apartment they are putting it in and somehow can rarely manage to put it in the correct one. It becomes a major inconvenience considering it is items I've ordered that cost money and I have to hope I get them whenever the person who received my package is honest enough to bring it to me. it is currently the holiday season and I need my package between a certain timeframe, I would've gotten it on time had the courier delivered it to the correct apartment. There were folks ahead of us and there were 2 chairs available (I am disabled and cannot stand very long) so I was able to sit in line. The flow of service was quick & we only had to wait about 10 minutes. The USPS clerk was: pleasant, courteous, & efficient. Her personality was such that she was very empathetic to my disability & truly treated me compassionately. She asked if I needed stamps, I said no thanks. She offered different rates & I decided on the delivery date of Monday, Yay; it would not take a week to get to my BFF in AZ! I highly recommend this USPS!

I understand that old timey-ness is part of the draw around here but would it kill you to get a stamp vending machine? pretty sure they've had such things since the dawn of the atomic age so no worries about it being an anarchism. might even get some repeat business after the business close of the business because it's not like you're going to do a lot of upselling
