They ordered a new lock installed for us for our mailbox in our development cluster mailboxes. A previous 'guest' lost or took the original keys. They said it would be done in the next few business days. It took them two weeks to get it done and notify us to pick up the new keys! Oh, and they NEVER answer their phone. All calls go to a voicemail box that tells you it is 'full'. Ugh! I guess they don't have to be excellent at customer service when there's no competition!! read more

The Laurens road post office, Greenville, SC 29607, changed the crew recently (2025). They are in very bad attitude towards customers and just put unreasonable requirements on customers, making customers drive back and forth to get the documents to meet their requirement. They are very unprofessional, discourteous and unhelpful. They are not well trained and unfamiliar with the procedure of the post office. They need to be re-trained. read more

Wow. The height of incompetence. My package, bound for an NC city, made from out west to Greenville. It was ONLY an hour away from me. But then the sharp staff in Greenville sent it to Springfield, MA for a tour of the town and an overnighter. The next day the package was (I supposed) walked to a post office in Connecticut, where it awaits dinner and drinks. Please don't penetrate my package. Great job Greenville! This place is shady as hell. I went on on a Saturday with my son to drop off a package. The lobby is closed and the drop box too small to get the box through. I knocked on the door to the back a few times. No response. My wife needs this box shipped today. I knocked louder. Nothing. I whacked on the door thinking if they were in the back, they'd be able to hear me. I hear this resentful voice saying - coming! Another minute passes. I can hear voices behind the door. A man asks from behind the closed door - what do you want? Indeed, what would I want at the post office? I'd like to ask about your extended auto warranty. I tell him I need to drop off a package, that the opening is too small. We're closed he yells. I ask where I should drop off t he package. They open the small opening of the door. A man and a woman. We're closed, they snipe. They tell me I shouldn't be knocking on the door. How do I drop this off, then? They refuse to answer that. We were about to call security, they say. I hand over the package. She says we shouldn't be taking this. We should be calling security. This is fragile stuff that I'm mailing. I have zero faith that after I leave my package won't be dropkicked across the floor. I say - you know what, I'll take my package back and mail it somewhere else. She hurls it back into my chest, at the same time, whether accidentally or otherwise, she grabs hold of my amber bracelet and pulls. It breaks. It was savage. Beads scatter all over the floor. She then slams the door in my face. My son is scared at this point. Afraid that we're going to be arrested, since they said they are going to call security on us. Their faces are just balls of anger; it's disconcerting and weird. These people running the back of this post office on weekends are psychotic. I've never had an experience like this. Anywhere. Post office or anywhere. These people are beyond rude. They're bitter, angry jerks. And they broke my bracelet. You scared my son. That's what really ticks me off. These people should be fired. Somewhere there is video of me yelling - have a great day! at a door, behind which are two of the rudest postal employees my journey through life has brought me too close to. My only satisfaction is that - I can leave that place. I mailed it elsewhere. They are stuck being who they are - miserable creatures that would rather threaten a father standing in their lobby holding a package with his son, than take that package and do their job. I thought I stepped into the twilight zone for a moment. USPS shows their true colors, yet again. I'd like to switch our entire shipping system over to anybody other than this company. I'll pursue that option. I am entirely okay with shutting down the USPS system, or privatizing our mail. read more

Unbelievably bad service at the Passport application window. I've been with two kids in an effort to get a passport and each time it's been the same lady behind the counter. She is rude and seems to enjoy finding ways to reject those who show up. I had great difficulty getting regular mail delivery at my address for over a decade. I am the only house on my block. Multiple mailman do not deliver my mail. When I complained about the last one, he was removed from the route but on his last day he put nails in my driveway and flattened all my tires. Since then mail has been spotty. I signed up for informed delivery to track my mail. Many days I do not get mail that is out for delivery. More than once packages have been returned to sender instead of being delivered. read more

I am an eBay seller and order my supplies via a company that used to be located in Florida. Recently their warehouse moved to another location and my packages have to come through here. Packages sit for hours or days here. It's like a black hole or a vortex where mail just sits forever. Before when I ordered priority 1-2 day shipping I literally got it the next day. Now I'm lucky if I receive it by the second day. So far I've gotten a total of three, yes, THREE refunds from usps because of my packages arriving days after their guaranteed delivery time. Needless to say I had many disappointed customers when I couldn't provide packages on time and so from now on I have used UPS because I cannot afford to get packages this late while running a business. For whatever reason something is VERY wrong with this location. They could be short staffed or something, I honestly don't know, but whatever it is needs to be fixed if usps wants people to continue using their service. read more

I was treated like a second class human being by the passport counter clerk while at this location. She indicated, "she was having a good day until I showed up". Not sure it matters, but she was African American I am Caucasian. Never before have I ever been treated so poorly, and in these uncertain days, am unsure if the current divided situation in our country contributed to how I was treated. I am not a racist, and do not appreciate being treated poorly due to my skin color. This location needs to retrain employees on how to treat customers properly. read more

I came in to get my passport renewed and was unaware of the appointment requirements. I attempted to make an appointment online but the website was experiencing issues. I spoke with Shawn and explained that I had already taken time from work to get this done. Since I had come prepared with all the necessary paperwork, documents and my photos, he squeezed me in right before his break. Awful awful!! Avoid at all cost. It's usually busy at this post office which I understand BUT people that work there are extremely rude!! Especially this older man that works in there! He gives me the worst attitude when I drop off my packages!! Like I understand there is a so-called "drop-off" section but believe me it is always piled high and there is virtually NO room to put any of your stuff. So to be in the save side I waited in line patiently to hand them my packages. Needless to say the guy that works there took my packages unhappily and threw them on the floor like he doesn't give a sh*t. Rude and unfriendly person. Like how in the world do you expect me to put my packages on the drop off area when they never clear off the counter for other people to drop off there packages???!!!!! They need to seriously fire those people working in there and hire new ones. I will NEVER use them to deliver my packages again!! Their customer service has failed and that whole post office is a complete mess!! Recommend either going to a different post office or using a different carrier altogether!!! I simply cannot get them to answer the phone regardless of when I call. Mail box is full all the time. So you cannot even leave a message. Missing packages, mis delivered packages. But since this is a government agency I very much doubt they will even read this review. But I now have a locked US Mail box so I will eventually drive down there and give the postmaster a piece of my mind. read more
