Which is really what you are looking for, especially for package drop offs. Staff here are really friendly and do a great job ensuring that you are taken care of in a kind and professional manner. As for the store itself, they have all the typical packaging supplies you could need. So, if you find yourself trying to package something up, just bring it in here and you can find all the stuff you need to make that happen. It is probably a little more than the big name box stores, but shopping for convenience comes with a price some times. It's not unreasonable by any stretch. If you are in the area and have package needs - UPS mailing needs, this is a good location to check out.

I knew I would have excellent service as soon as I saw her and I was not disappointed! The amazon return was super easy, I had a bar code in my email, she scanned it and the label printed - and that was done. Also received a tracking number to confirm they got the return. Shipping a small package, she entered the information and looked up the best price, which turned out to be USPS. They ship with more than just UPS, which greatly expands your options. Also noted that they can make copies, business cards, and many other services. So many office needs can be taken care of in one stop, with fast, efficient service too!

What I got made my purchase worth the stop. Not only were they open and ready to answer my questions. We had a good laugh. I asked about a roll of stamps and she gave me the price. Needless to say, I settled for a sheet. Not a baller or shot caller like that. We laughed as I left. Convenient and always nice people working here

Some of the customers were regulars , so I really like how the postal attendants interacted with those customers. Customer service in general was stellar across the board!! LaSondra was a joy to be around . She helped me with purchasing a money order and filling it out correctly to mail along with my passport renewal packet. I don't believe I've ever purchased a money order in my life . It went well with such great help! She also helped me select the appropriate trackable mailing option. The trackable option is ideal when mailing off such sensitive material. The post office didn't seem like the place to take photos since it's a government agency. Honestly , I was afraid too! No pictures but this was a very clean , organized facility with all mailing services available. This was a great experience!

This isn't about the Anniston post office specifically. It's about the whole organization. Just…read morepitiful. Worse than pitiful. I can't think of a thing they do well. If it's something you order and you need it quick, the USPS isn't it. Your package will stop at every hub post office in every state until it gets to you. The big hub here is in Birmingham, AL. I've had packages sit there for 3-4 days before they move it to Anniston about 30 miles away. I got a notice from the USPS Birmingham on Monday that my package was delayed because of severe weather. I looked out the window and the sun was shining. I got a notice last week my package was undeliverable because my mailbox was unavailable. Huh? Their informed delivery page is a joke. It's not even close to being right, ever. I've had 3 packages in there that were supposed to be delivered on Monday. It's now Wednesday and haven't seen package one. They just keep moving the date everyday. I've been down to the post office to find out what the issue is. I would have had better luck talking to my 3 yo. Nobody know anything or they're just not saying. And going to the USPS site to price postage for a package. Forget it. Page after page of of prices and zones. You need a PHD to read and understand it because of course there's no instructions. Go to the FEDEX or UPS sites, type in the package dimensions, weight and zip code. Presto! Instant price!. And their version of informed delivery is actually fairly accurate. Imagine that. If some day the law is changed and some competition is allowed for a competing mail service, the USPS will be gone in less than a year. And if congress stopped making up their $8 billion shortfall every year, they'd be gone tomorrow. And they do lose $5-8 billion dollars year after year. I guess that what happens when you hire people to sell stamps and pay them $85,000/yr.
