One stop shop. They do it all. Don't have a printer? That's fine. They have the papers to fill out there. Don't have your picture? That's fine they take it there. Need it faster than 4-6 weeks? That's fine. You can do that there. I think they have discounts for asu students faculty and alumni. But don't quote me on that. It was super easy and fast. read more

I took mom to renew her passport and we had the appointment at 8:30am, but we forgot one of the documents, the staff was very accommodating and waited for us to go back and get the missing documents and we return and without hesitation the staff attended mom and application was processed on the spot for the renewal of the passport. Thank you!!! read more

Easy find and signed fairly well outside. Plenty of parking too. Inside it is your typical office area with cubicles and the covid addition of glass barriers. Appointment made about a week prior to coming in because it's required. Without an appointment you might as well walk back out the door. On the plus side, it was much easier to schedule here then it was with the City of Chandler. Word has it the Post Office was four weeks out. We arrived maybe 30 minutes, give or take, prior to our appointment. And the appointment confirmation email does say to arrive at the exact time. This worked out fine because we needed to redo our paperwork. In the meantime our credentials were taken so copies could be made, we were given the appropriate forms and directed to the clipboards, took a seat to complete the new form(s). The young woman that greeted us and provided the appropriate forms (DS-82 and DS-11) for us to complete, came by to check on our status, gave us back our IDs, and reminded us of the form of payment accepted for passport(s) we requested, what to include in memo, and amount of processing fee handled by ASU and who that needed to be paid. Shortly after that we were invited to take a seat at Mr. J's desk (sorry, couldn't remember if it was Joshua or ...) where we went over more specific details, like verifying our passport photos were recent, passed over our cc's and personal checks, signed the application in his presence, etc. I inquired about turn around time and if it might be necessary to pay for expediting the process and he had us both convinced we would receive our passports within a reasonable period of time and not likely needing to pay the additional $65 for expedited processing. Fingers crossed. So we're looking forward to receiving our passport, the return of my old and expired passport card, and me with both passport and passport card -cuz why not?! before our upcoming trip. We were done and out the door before quarter after the hour of our scheduled appointment. Efficiently run. Polite and knowledgeable staff. Don't tell them I told you. read more

Went to renew my passport after ten years, and couldn't do to not having a check or money order. And you need to have both parents present for your child. If you have your kid Mae sure your spouse/partner goes. I'm upset I wasn't met with more empathy and was talked to in a kind way. I was spoken to in a condescending tone and it was unnecessary. Please have your staff do some sensitive training. And I can't believe this asked me, "So how are we paying today?" What do you mean? You already told me both parents needed to be present so why are you asking to still take my money. Loved my first experience here ten years ago but as we know, life goes on, and people change. These people need some empathy and to drop that condescending-unhelpful-tone. read more

When you need your passport fast this is the place you want to go! You drop off your paperwork and money in the morning, go have a bite to eat and pick your passport up 4 hours later. Great service, pleasant people. read more

Amazing experience!! Idk why I was nervous as a 32 year old women to fill out all these forms and not make a mistake but as soon as I arrived, everyone was kind respectful, very patient! I do recommend coming with your forms completed. Everyone arrived after us with their forms completed and was in and out while me and my husband was standing over to the side at a nice small table with extra clipboards and pens to complete our forms because I was nervous to do it at home and mess up as soon as I got there. But it was super simple super easy. We did take photos at home and printed them out and came with them. Mine is zoomed in more so you could see my hazel eyes and freckles like a selfie ‍ so it was not accepted which I had a feeling was going to happen so they took a photo of me and I was only charged $15 extra dollars. we paid extra for the expedite shipping & we signed our forms and the male representative then informed us we were all good to go. It was very quick and fast and great customer service and everybody was friendly. read more

Extremely frustrated with this office. First time I came the money order I had was wrong- my fault for trusting Google... I was applying for a passport for a minor and we had brought her with us for the initial appointment and were told to come back with the correct money order but all of our paperwork was ready to go. They took photos of my daughter at the office and we were told that she did NOT need to come back with us to file all the paperwork since everything was just about finalized just needed to put in the computer and file and they already had photos. Got to the office today and was told that she did in fact need to be with us. Her father and were both there and both heard the lady say she didn't need to come we thought great she's got school anyway, we'll just come before work and get this done. I know for a fact, the lady that was helping us at the appointment told us she didn't need to come because if she did, we would've brought her, so now we're having to make a third trip over to this office and we don't live close by. read more

I had to renew my passport. Quick and simple. When you book an appointment make sure you read the email entire email. You need to bring in a cashiers check for part of the payment and debit card for the other part. read more

Fast, friendly service! Had our passports quicker than expected!! I'd highly recommend the Tempe Passport office!

Made an appt. Showed up quite a bit early prepared to wait if needed but hoping for earlier. Got in within minutes to take care of our business. You should know we followed online site to see busier times and such. Medium busyness when we arrived so still pretty well done. read more

I was totally dreading having to go get our son's passport updated because I thought it was going to be a long drawn out process. Boy was I wrong. Everyone there was so kind. We had an apt and were in and out quickly! I will definitely be coming back here when it's time to update my passport. read more

Even though it's impossible to get anyone to answer a question on the phone, once you're there, it's easy to park and not busy inside

Super friendly staff and made the process simple and easy. You must book an appointment online. Highly recommend!

Very friendly staff. My wife and I were 15 minutes early for our 10 AM appointment. Right away the gal checking us in went ahead and reviewed the documents we had brought for replacing our lost passports and got things in order for the representative that we were assigned to see. Our representative was maybe a little early in seeing us. He was pleasant and orderly in reviewing our documents, getting needed items completed, getting our new passport pictures taken, taking care of the necessary payments we needed to make, and completing the process so they could submit all needed documents for our new passports. The whole process for us was quick, pleasant, and hassle free. As we left and were walking back to our car I looked at my watch. It was 10:11 AM. WOW!!! read more

Went in without an appointment. Clerk was quick to greet me and ask for my paperwork even without the appointment. Turns out they had a cancellation 30 minutes from my arrival! Just had to run to Safeway to get a money order that took less than 10 min. Returned and was in and out within 15 minutes! Second clerk was also quick. Both ladies were kind and efficient and so helpful! Even got a discount for being an ASU student! read more

Great experience. 4/5 for miscommunication; an employee told me, over the phone, that birth certificate copies were acceptable. When I arrived at the office, another employee said it needed to be original copies. Thankfully, they let me run back home to grab the original. The process is quick if you have your needed documents. You can also call with questions beforehand. Must schedule your appointment online, AND this location only schedules 10 days out! So good! 10/10 Recommend read more

Went to renew my passport today with my boyfriend and the process was extremely easy. We went around 11am did not have to wait at all thankfully. The women working were very accommodating and were able to process both of our passport applications at the same time. We were in and out in about 10-15 minutes. Everything at the office is pretty much straight forward. The applications are available to fill out as soon as you walk in. The woman who specifically helped us name was Monica. She checked all of our documents as soon as we walked in to ensure we had everything before we proceeded. The actual passport book/card fees are to be paid in an exact amount in a check or money order. The processing fee is paid on a Visa or MasterCard. No cash is accepted. Prior to arriving, I read a few unfortunate stories about being turned away due to lack or insufficient documentation. If you do a bit of research and bring all of the items you need then you should be able to get your application processed very easily. The ASU office also has a very helpful website, https://cfo.asu.edu/passport. It is especially helpful for people who are applying for the first time. read more

I don't think I've ever gone a Passport acceptance office that was this quick, helpful, and basically not employing drones with no personality. Tip: they do not take cards for the processing fee! I had my checkbook with me and lucked out, otherwise I would have had to leave to get a money order. The entrance is a little hard to find, just look for the ramp next to the Kidney/Vascular office, it's right next to it. Wish I knew about this place years ago, and I'm glad I found it. Got my daughter's passport in 2 weeks flat, and it wasn't even expedited! Very impressed, thank you! read more

Very nice ladies in there assisted me in a passport form. It took quite literally 10 minutes. They were quick and effective and very kind.

I've been putting off renewing my passport since I haven't had any plans to go out of the country within...oh, the past TEN years. On top of that I was literally at the cut off for being able to renew your passport in the mail (date of issue has to be when you were 16 years or older, and I was 15 at the time...). I called around to four different locations that were nearest to me and two of them didn't have any appointments until a month out and the other two didn't pick at all. Luckily I looked up the website for the U.S. Passport Acceptance Office at ASU and it's a walk-in basis Monday through Friday 9am-3pm. I decided to head over around 10am just in case I had to figure out where the office was since I'm not at all familiar with ASU. It actually wasn't that difficult to find despite the fact that I couldn't see the suite 111 number at all. They have three complimentary parking spaces that are first-come, first-serve that are right across from the actual center/the reserved spaces for patients for the SKI Vascular Center. The office is small, but was pretty much empty when I got there. I only had to wait for a few minutes before I was helped. I had everything ready (with extras) to make sure the process was as painless as possible. The person who helped me was so nice and gave me on advice on what to do since I had a trip planned for exactly 6 weeks out. I ended up choosing for the expedited service which does cost more, but ensures that my passport will get to me in 2-3 weeks. (You have to write a check for whatever passport service you're getting, then pay with either a credit or debit card for the ASU processing fee (mine was $185.45 + $50). Overall waaaay easier than I expected this process to be. A+++ read more

Do not go! We showed up 8 minutes before posted closing time and the door was locked. Someone was gracious enough to open it for us, but a manager quickly ran over to us and just flat out said NO. She told us (with 8 minutes still left open for business) her whole staff had "places to be" and "a work event to go to". I get it. But don't you dare lock the door on customers during office hours and then tell us no. I pulled my son out of school for this along with taking the day off from work. I showed up on time! And all we needed was a signature! We are paying customers with a passport that needs being made immediately. You have now ruined and seriously implicated our international travel plans for our 6 year old son. Shame on you. read more

Let's just stick with the FACTS: The website reads "Hours of operation Office hours are Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Please arrive before 3:45 p.m. to allow for processing time.)" We arrived at 3:30pm with our ten month old and after waiting 20 minutes, at 3:50pm we were told we would not be served as per their hours of operation posted on their website (see above), and that we should return another time. We arrived prior to 3:45pm as asked and we were not served. _______________________ UPDATE/ RESOLUTION The office was receptive to feedback and remedied the situation by seeing us quickly and attentively the next morning. My phone calls and emails were responded to, and we were treated professionally at the office and in their office's correspondence. read more

I called the phone number listed online for details before heading over. There was a recording that pretty much answered all of my questions. Once I went to the location (per my gps/google map), it took me a few minutes to locate the correct door to the office. I was greeted and advised immediately after walking in. Great experience. read more
