I went in to deposit a $150 check that we needed to use for school supplies for our kids, and I was turned away by Morgan and Velda because of how the payee was written. The check was made payable to my wife and the name of our small personal business, Ruben's Rapid Detail, which we operate out of our home. This is an extremely small side business that has generated less than $1,000, and because of that, we do not have a separate business bank account yet. What makes this even more frustrating is that the check was issued using the personal information my wife provided on a W-9. There is no EIN, no business tax identification number, or separate business information associated with this payment. It was written using her personal information because that is what we actually provided. I was simply trying to deposit a $150 check into our personal account so we could buy school supplies for our children. Instead of working with me or offering any reasonable solution, Morgan and Velda refused the deposit and told me they were uncomfortable accepting it unless we opened a business account. I understand that banks have policies, but the way this was handled was unnecessarily frustrating and dismissive. I wasn't trying to do anything unusual or suspicious. I was trying to deposit a legitimate $150 check into an account I already have with this institution. I am extremely disappointed with the way Morgan and Velda chose to handle this situation. After this experience, I'm seriously reconsidering whether this is a financial institution I want to continue doing business with. One star.

Accuses him of telling her how to run the place.... Question was about getting more tellers during lunch to cover tellers taking lunch.....so that customers that can only bank during lunch don't have to stand in line for extended periods of times. Asking a question is wrong??? Get this lady some help and training!
