We have used U-Pack by ABF Freight twice. Once when we moved to Puerto Rico and just now when we moved to Georgia. My son and I don't mind doing manual work so we loade the trailer in PR and we unloaded it when it arrived at our house in Georgia. The price to value is excellent, the timing promised was spot on. Our items were just like when we packed them. The driver in Georgia, Mr. Charles is a real professional driver. He backed the pup trailer down a steep driveway that had a slight bend. He nailed it perfect the first time. He is ahem of a driver and very courteous. When you have the opportunity to do business with a company who has team members like Sam in dispatch and Charles the operator it really makes your day. Great job fellas. This was my first time with U-pack and at first I was a bit apprehensive. These people's reps in PR were fantastic; courteous, diligent, helpful, punctual and kind. Then while we were waiting for our trailer to get to the US, they kept me up-to-date following up its movement. I have to admit that I am grateful and satisfied with the service starting in Puerto Rico and the arrival and delivery of the trailer to our home in the US. We had from Thursday until Monday the next to get everything in the house, no rush. The drivers from PR were very nice and courteous people like the one in US. I choose u-pack for there inexpensive charges compared to other companies in Puerto Rico, I anticipated some type of loss due to the complexity of my move and of course the inexperience of my wife and I at packaging. I have used this company twice and on both moves they really do a wonderful job. The price is the best. The service is super excellent and if you do need to change a date it is always handled with patience and concern. My freight always arrived on time SAV to SJU and was never turned upside down. You also put your own lock on the Upack box so you can feel secure about your items. You can track your freight the whole way to your destination. Sent my U Pack from San Juan Puerto Rico to Maine. The team did a great job from start to finish. My container left the island and it arrived within 3 weeks (including the team on the ocean). I was able to arrange local transportation through ABF to deliver to a non delivery area and it was reasonable. The drivers on both sides were professional and friendly. I have used U pack three times and they always do a fantastic job. No damage to our personal items and everything was dry. Highly recommend.! read more

I needed to move some furniture from Puerto Rico to New Jersey. Not only was U-pack the cheapest, it was the most convenient way to go. It was quick and easy. U-pack dropped off the pod, I filled it on my own time, scheduled pick-up and done. The pod was in NJ before I was. Moved from Puerto Rico to Charlotte NC. Staff at both locations always addressed my concerns and were friendly. Cubes were delivedered and picked up promptly in PR, and service at Charlotte (delivery and pick up of cubes) was very good. Used two cubes. This company is easy to get ahold of, communicates well and assured that my items made it from PR to Florida without incident.
