A few days before the actual move, she sent a reminder/confirmation email (which I appreciated as it showed that they are on top of things). The movers appeared on time and were very careful yet fast and efficient. And - they charged us $169.50, because the job was "easier than expected"! Careful with our items and willing to take decor and pictures not in boxes. They packed and taped things to ensure no breakage. There were no extra nor hidden fees. In fact, our final total was $700 less than quoted because the move was quicker than the quoted hours. When I lifted my garage door to leave for a scheduled appointment the box of the truck was right there. When we asked them to move, the women proceeded to make it well known she was not happy. She was obviously not happy we asked her to move her truck. One of them even suggested they only had one or two more items to move. My appointment was at least a 45 minute drive and we needed to leave. We pointed out she was parked in the wrong location and was going the wrong way in a one way drive for 22 garages. There are signs for no parking and one way, but they appeared to ignored them, probably to make their job easier. All they needed to do was move the truck so we could leave versus an argument breaking out with two seniors. I forced them to take a break for lunch, and they were very appreciative. I will never ask friends to help me move again. I paid a fair price for a great service. No nonsense pricing. They presented an hourly rate and an estimate of how long they thought the move would take. They came very close to on time, but I have a lot of stuff so I don't blame them for going overtime. The move had to be continued two days later (as they couldn't move it all in one day), I have no idea what we would have done if that had been the last day of our lease. Left us high and dry, without any help or recommendations. Just too bad, so sad. We scrambled to find another mover to help us same-day, but we got it done. Every moving company we called couldn't believe these clowns would be so unprofessional, and did more to help us than the Good ol Boys. Again, do not use unless you have a backup moving company booked, because these clowns may just not show up.
