That company charged us 1250.00$ for four hours. They had a U-Haul rental that costs about 50 bucks for that amount of time. So they charged me 1200 for two guys who took lunch and charged us another hour so they could take the U-Haul back. Are you kidding me!! It was the smallest truck. They did work hard but never will u ever use that moving company again! Total actual time was 3:45 hours and we paid 5 hours. Plus their lunch bullsh...! If you deal with green storage i believe it's there weekend buddies out to make a buck. So no good things here to say about move4u

The staff are all well aware of this issue but don't warn you prior to signing up for a unit. We had all of our home contents in storage for nearly 2 years while traveling and returned this past July to rodent urine and excrement on EVERYTHING - furniture, kids toys, boxes and bins chewed open, and our brand new Endy mattress and Dyson stick vacuum destroyed. Management told us they are aware there is an issue with rodents only after we brought the damage to their attention and said that a regional manager would be in touch. It took writing several reviews to finally receive a response. Scott, the regional manager offered us compensation in the amount of $900 which doesn't even cover the cost of a new mattress, but advised it would take up to 6 weeks to receive the cheque. It has been over 10 weeks and no one will answer our emails and no cheque has been sent. There is ZERO customer service or support. We spent over $10,000 in storage fees and had over $2000 in damages that aren't even covered by their mandatory 'insurance' policy. This company is criminal and should not be in business. I cannot express my dissatisfaction and frustration enough. Avoid this company at all costs!

Want to get a hitch installed? U-haul books "appointments" for a hitch installation even when they DO NOT have the part. We booked our appointment 10 days ago, needing our hitch installed for our family canoe trip. I went to our 9am appointment today to find out they did not have the hitch. Now it is too late to get a hitch installed anywhere else as companies are booking a week in advance. Makes sense. Wish I had known 10 days ago that an "appointment" for a hitch install means that I wait in line early on a Monday morning to be told the closest hitch is in Pennsylvania. Horrible.

My experience sod not start out well, but ended well…read more I'd called the location the week before and spoke to the manager. Told him I would be arriving in a week (gave him the specific date) with movers paid by the hour and needed his advice from looking at the contents of the moving truck to determine what size of locker would be required. Did not want to over pay for a locker or worse, find out after that it would not fit and then have to continue to pay movers to move to another unit. I spoke to the same manager the day before and confirmed the time I'd be arriving along with that he'd be there to assess and advise which he stated we'd see each other then. I arrived the next day in the time window agreed, went into the office and was advised, "today and tomorrow are is regular days off"! I really thought the staff were joking, however they were not. What's the point of agreeing on an appointment with someone if it's your regular day off???? And especially since he had also left no messages for the staff on site??? And with all due respect to the staff who we're on site, they were not able to make this assessment. Come to the rescue Angela & Nicole. While they patiently listened to my frustration and concerns, they remained calm and professional. I'd indicated I was going to be a calling the corporate offices for Public Storage Canada, which i did, and obtained the name of the district manager. They checked with their supervisor off-site and confirmed they could release the DM's contact information. The DM called the location after I had left her a VM and they had emailed her as a head's up and I spoke to the district manager directly. Explained my frustration and the details of the situation. The DM (Susan) authorized a solution that was agreeable and the visit ended. Hats off to Angela, Nicole and Susan. Thank you. Allan

What an absolutely unprofessional team…read more Were set to arrive for 9am. Called at 915am to tell me they were just leaving Hamilton. I lived in Noeth York. Almost 2.5 hours later they finally show up, after going to the wrong address, and calling me a handful of times to tell me they were a half an hour away. Over the phone they had the nerve to act as if them being late was by no fault of their own, and was justified by the fact that apparently I was getting 1 free mover. And that I was lucky that they were even coming for the appointment I made with them a month before hand. They show finally show up. Get lost on the way to my new place. Cop an attitude with me over the phone. They are unprofessional, not resourceful and completely unreliable. Do not waste your time or money.

They confirmed it even the day before but didn't show up at 2:00 pm while I had packed all my stuff and waiting for them When I called them at 2:15 pm, they tole me that they would be there in 11 minutes but obviously they were just going somewhere else to do another move which I guess were paying them more!!!! I called they guy again around 3:00 pm and he said the y were behind schedule and didnt know when they could do my move, he wasnt even able to give me a time! I had to call many places and found another moved and paid 200 more and you can imagine how stressful it was. Then the stupid guy called me around 7:00 pm I guess to come do my moving!!! These are just a bunch of losers who promise and dont do what that had promised
