It's rarely crowded in here and usually no wait to use any of the machines. I feel safe here. I don't feel like I need to watch over my clothes for fear of someone stealing them out of the machine. You can go home for a while or get errands done while your clothes are washing or drying. There is a change machine and all the machines are coin operated. You need to bring your own soap because there is none available here except powder of an unknown brand, scooped out of a bucket. (Should only be used in an emergency situation!)

I have been going here regularly for the better part of five years. Unfortunately, a couple of…read moreweeks ago was my very last time going to this laundromat. Recently it seems like management has neither the willingness nor the capacity to clean the mold out of their washing machines. It's a noticeable and unmistakable odor than you can smell as soon as you open the door to the washing machines. But you may figure, "Well, I'm washing my clothes with soap and water, and then subsequently drying them at high heat. This should help alleviate any hint of lingering mold." But you would be so so regrettably wrong. Here's why... Before my last trip to this laundromat (I like to use the large machines), I noticed that the machine started the cycle, but with what could only be described as a minimal amount of water. Barely enough for clothes to get wet but not enough for them to get clean. The cycle finished and my clothes were moist and soapy. Obviously not clean. I complained to the staff who then went to get who I would assume was one of the owners (unsure). She was combative but ultimately agreed to another wash. Because obviously... the clothes weren't clean. The very next visit there were signs all over the machines saying that NO REWASHES will be given and to not put too much soap in the machines because then it's your fault. So at that point you can either choose between moldy clothes, or moldy soapy clothes. That's what those signs are saying. What type bullcrap is that? The type of bullcrap that lets me know that the proprietors value neither their customers nor do they value selling an honest product. Put some water on my clothes please when I'm paying you $15/load. And to be perfectly frank, I am tired of people coming into my neighborhood and feeling so comfortable about cheating hard working people out of the services that they pay for. Operating with shameless impunity. Unfortunately this is just another example. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Hey Larry, if I'm lyin I'm dyin. Now tell me I'm wrong. I'll be waiting.

This is truly a laundry mat of the future. I thought Supersuds was good. This is far, far better…read more First of all it's big, it's bright and it's clean. But let me get to the real good stuff. You can pay directly at the machine using your credit or debit card AND your free dry will still work. It doesn't have to be tied to your laundry card. I used my debit card, paid 6.29 for my wash and all three of my dry cycles were free. Speaking of the laundry card you can still get that (costs 1.00) and pre load it with money. You can ALSO register your card and get a new one if you lose it. You will still have to pay a dollar but the laundry mat will reload your card with whatever the balance was so you won't lose your money too. Isn't that great? There are even instructions on the wall telling you step by step how to operate the machines with your phone. Of course!! That's the next logical step. I will be trying that out on my next visit. They also have at least four different washer sizes and two different size dryers. This is major people. MAJOR. But wait there's more. Remember the days when you ran out of detergent or just foolishly forgot it and had to get that dreaded, tiny little cardboard box of sandlike stuff? Well Bakers has a whole state of the art vending machine with products that you actually want. Did I mention the flat screen TVs?

The policy of surrendering your ID for a cart is absolutely nonsensical. Is surrendering your ID to paraprofessionals (it is unknown if background checks have been conducted on employees) legal?
