The curated selection here are made from independent and local designers. I don't like to shop at department stores and always prefer small shops like these. You never know what cool a$$ one-of-a-kind pieces you might find. Kelly greeted me warmly and asked me multiple times if I needed help. Even when I was in the dressing room she called out to me to ask if everything I got was fitting well. Here is my fashion advice...always try on the pieces, even the one you are hesitating on. One of the tops I was questioning turned out to be the one I loved the most. When I told Kelly that I am always on the hunt for sheer tops, she showed me a few other pieces on the rack. She even showed me one of the tops she was wearing on her iPhone to give me a visual. Lol. I found the top I wanted for an upcoming concert...Cannons. Since leaving the store I am feeling regretful that I didn't get the leather belt and bag that I kept eyeing. That bag was sick!! But I will definitely stop by again in the near future. I guess it's been awhile since I've had anything dry cleaned, I was surprised by the $88 cost for the alterations and cleaning. The owner is super nice, work was great so I'm not complaining but just surprised. They take about a week to complete so it's not an overnight service but I'll wait for quality.

Steve showed me that the work needed for my jacket wasn't cost-effective and suggested that I return to the suit store for an exchange to a better fit. That made things even more critical as by the I received the new jacket I essentially had a 2-day turnaround. Amazingly, Steve was kind enough to include me in some select items he was doing on Monday, his normal day off. (I wouldn't expect him to do this for everyone.) Even then, he wasn't optimistic that the changes needed for my new jacket would be as effective as he would have liked to see. (It's not his skills but my...uniquely shaped torso, let's say. lol) Amazingly, not only did he complete the jacket and pants (which needed only minor work) in two days as promised, the jacket actually fit *perfectly* and I received many compliments at the function I wore it for.
