You never know what cool a$$ one-of-a-kind pieces you might find. Kelly greeted me warmly and asked me multiple times if I needed help. Even when I was in the dressing room she called out to me to ask if everything I got was fitting well. Here is my fashion advice...always try on the pieces, even the one you are hesitating on. One of the tops I was questioning turned out to be the one I loved the most. When I told Kelly that I am always on the hunt for sheer tops, she showed me a few other pieces on the rack. She even showed me one of the tops she was wearing on her iPhone to give me a visual. Lol. I found the top I wanted for an upcoming concert...Cannons. Since leaving the store I am feeling regretful that I didn't get the leather belt and bag that I kept eyeing. That bag was sick!! But I will definitely stop by again in the near future. I picked up the dress about a week and a half later and assumed everything had been completed as discussed. Unfortunately, when I went to get dressed for the event I was attending, I discovered that the dress had not been properly pressed. It was extremely wrinkled and looked like it had not been finished at all. This was especially disappointing because I had specifically confirmed at the time of drop-off that the dry cleaning was included. By the time I realized the issue, I was getting ready for an event and did not have enough time to have the dress properly cleaned and pressed elsewhere. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I expected better communication and attention to detail, especially after specifically confirming what services were included. Shirl is also very responsive and I knew I was leaving my dress in great hands. Since Shirl started making her own dresses before she started altering them, she really understands how to adjust a dress in the most flattering way possible, and is a true expert at what she does. Steve showed me that the work needed for my jacket wasn't cost-effective and suggested that I return to the suit store for an exchange to a better fit. That made things even more critical as by the I received the new jacket I essentially had a 2-day turnaround. Amazingly, Steve was kind enough to include me in some select items he was doing on Monday, his normal day off. (I wouldn't expect him to do this for everyone.) Even then, he wasn't optimistic that the changes needed for my new jacket would be as effective as he would have liked to see. (It's not his skills but my...uniquely shaped torso, let's say. lol) Amazingly, not only did he complete the jacket and pants (which needed only minor work) in two days as promised, the jacket actually fit *perfectly* and I received many compliments at the function I wore it for.
