This section of Hohenheimerstrasse is a little steep so it was nice to have the U-Bahn train to climb the hill for me from Charlottenplatz especially since I was dragging my suitcase to my hotel nearby. The train line runs up the center of Hohenheimerstrasse here with a curve downhill towards Olgaeck and straight to Bopser. So you can see the train coming for a moment and get ready to board. The station has side platforms so the doors will open on the right. A display indicates the next train that's coming and its destination. As the station serves the U5, U6, U7 and U12, be sure you're getting on the correct train! This is an above ground station but it does have the usual ticket vending machine.
