I am from out of town visiting my sister and mom. I decided to take my 16 yr old niece for a mani pedi nothing special just regular manicure and regular pedi with ( and I will gladly pay for the callus remover $5) Soooo I get TOM I politely introduced myself and let him know I was a visitor. I ask his name TOM HE SAID LOUDLY. He reached for the massage chair device. I said I don't want it on thank you. He turned it on any ways I turned it off. I ask for just callus remover he said no you want Deluxe pedi. I said no I don't I don't care for anything else I will gladly pay, the lady next to him working said $5 he said no $10, I said which is it laughing she said $5 he was pissed. CUT TO THE CHASE He went and got some blue scrub, I asked is that the callus remover he said it's better. I said I asked for callus remover he got up went and got the callus remover put it on left it for one minute scrub for 2 and wiped it off. He also kept hitting my feet as If to say without saying , put in the water. He did my mani, not great very quick. He left me sitting there got up and walked away. So I picked up my handbag and my drink and. Walked over to the drying station. NEVER THANKED ME NEVER HELPED ME NEVER SPOKE TO ME ONLY TO CALL ME HEIDI ( not Cathy) as he slapped the bill on the table. I got up a few minutes later and the girl helping my niece asked if I wanted to pay I said not now and asked her to help me move my pant legs down. She asked if I was ok I said no I told her my issue she said sorry blah blah blah I paid in cash left him nothing no tip her 8 bucks for my niece, I could hear him yelling at her for the tip money! OMG!!! I've never been to a nail salon with such nice people. The owner Mai made me feel like I was family. I live in NY but I'll make sure when I return to Tehachapi, I will be visiting her salon so she can do my nails again. I'm bringing the whole family. Tren, who did my pedicure was awesome as well. This was a very bad experience. I went in for a pedicure and after it was done I waited about 40 minutes under the light and then another 30 minutes after I went home and I had to go somewhere so I slipped my shoes on and after I took my shoes off it ruined my polish. They weren't very informative either. That was my first pedicure and they left me sitting at the light without telling me when I could leave. So I highly recommend you do not go here. read more

This place is amazing I love it. I'm currently moving and I'm going to miss it Mai is the best and sweetest! They're very reasonable with prices for full sets. They do an amazing job. 10/10 recommend sea salt exfoliation! I love getting my pedicure there as well. They try and make sure everything is perfect. If you end up not liking your nail polish tell them. They want you to have the best experience possible. And trust me they do! You will not regret going! read more

I got a new full set done by one of the younger ladies that work there. It was such a cheap nail job. She seemed annoyed and in a hurry. The nails barley fit correctly. Also the nails already started falling off a week later. However, Victoria does eyebrow waxing very well. I would highly recommend her. I got my eyebrows done once by one of the other ladies and they gave two dramatically different sized eyebrows. It was awfully shaped too. Compared to the other nail places in Tehachapi this place is the best looking inside. read more

If your looking for a basic pedicure I think they have a great price at $18. Unfortunately I have very dry feet who need some extra tlc, they did very little scrubbing so after a week it already felt like I needed another pedicure. I wish they had more then one choice for a pedicure. read more

The guy rushed! I got pink and white gel nails. The white looked like I did it at home. It wasn't straight or thick. I asked the guy if he could put more white because it was almost transparent he said " oh no oh no it's better like this" . I used to go there, but the last time I went they put so much polish on it would never dry, I scuffed it up after about an hour because it was still so thick it would never dry, I went back in for them to fix and it the lady was very rough and just about yelled at me, telling me it was my fault for not letting it dry, I told her it had been over an hour. Also she didn't cover my whole nail with the nail polish. The lady that worked there was very rude when we paid her. She was throwing the pen and the paper. OMG, finally a great nail salon in Tehachapi! We'd stopped going here several years ago due to a problem with prior management but went back due to new ownership and positive feedback. Very nice clean decorated store, ultra friendly staff, most speak English (very little "chatter" in the background), and Mai, the owner, always makes sure you're happy. Terrible experience. Called shortly after 5 to ask what time they closed. The woman who answered replied that they closed at 6 but to come in right away if I wanted to get a service. I explained that I would like a full set and would head that way. I arrived, and the woman confirmed that I was the person who had just called. She started on my nails by doing a horrible job of removing my polish. She then began to use the roughest drill I've ever felt to smooth my nail bed. It hurt so badly I had to ask her to stop. The skin underneath my nails was throbbing at this point. As she replaced the swirl head, she said she didn't have anything else softer. I asked her about the head that she JUST PUT ON. She said it wasn't any softer and I requested that she try....and guess what? It was a complete 180 in strength, and was much softer. She took out the plastic box of compartmentalized white tips, and I asked her to please finish removing the polish still on my nails before she put the tips on. She looked at me in frustration and-I kid you not- asked for me to come back tomorrow because it was close to 6 and she "had a headache". I obliged, because at this point I was already committed to going to a different nail shop. Here's a tip: Don't waste someone's time and invite them in for a service if you're going to rush through it and do a crap job, and then top it off by feigning a headache because you're too lazy to complete the job. Bonus for me, it most likely would've been an awful job anyway, so I probably lucked out. read more

She is careful and attentive, takes care of business, and leaves me SO relaxed I was like Jell-O when I left her. If only she'd offer full massages, I'd be in heaven! Well worth the time and cost! By far the worst nail salon I've ever been in my entire life. The girl made me bleed and did the worst nail job in the world. $55 for cracked, broken finger nails (unpolished might I add) and an okay gel pedicure (biggest rip off of my life). This was the second time I have been here. The first time I was not even acknowledged when I walked in and had to ask for help. The guy who did my nails was okay nothing special and never even spoke to me. I decided I would give them another chance and take my mother in law to have her feet and hands done. When we walked in once again we were ignored after a few minutes they said they could do her feet and it would be 40 min for nails not really sure why so long they had 15 employees walking around eating and laughing and no one in any chairs. I approached a lady and said is it going to be 40 min for each one of us because I was thinking maybe I could run an errand she immediately snapped at me and said do you want your nails done or not! I'm not sure what her problem was I was never rude it was just a question. I said no thank you we will go somewhere else. I payed for the pedi and left. If you work hard for your money and treat yourself every once in awhile don't give them your hard earned money. read more

I love going here for pedicures, as its very relaxing and you leave feeling pampered and as if you spent your money well. The pedicures also last a long time and continue to look great a month into having it. On a whim I decided to get acrylic pink and whites and was hesitant leaving the way that they looked. They were cheaply done and looked as if I had been wearing them for weeks already. I also noticed that when I messed with my hair, my hair got stuck underneith the acrylics and would rip strands of my hair. Which I know is not at all normal. If you are looking for a pedicure, this is your place, but I would steer clear if you are interested in acrylics. read more
