A cute little park in downtown Vienna. My dog loves being outdoors and parks but we like to avoid…read moreanywhere crowded as he gets excited very easily. We stopped by at this park today because our usual one was too full. This one was nice and empty for him. It had just enough room for him to explore and have fun. Lots of trash cans available for doggie #2 too. Parking was easy right on the street. They had a little free library as well. They had bathrooms that were pretty clean and even a doggie water fountain (and a water fountain specifically to refill your water bottle). It was a nice surprise that this little park had so many amenities. I'll definitely be back as my dog really enjoyed himself!!

There was something so magical about the community of Bluebell, Alabama and all of the traditions and activities they had that was very compelling to watch. I believe the Town of Vienna is the closest to Bluebell situation we have going here in Northern Virginia and I have definitely been taking advantage of all the family-friendly activities that they offer. The Vienna Town Green is home to a lot of them (including a free summer concert series). A few friends and I packed up a picnic and watched a show while our kiddos ran around with new friends catching fireflies and blowing bubbles. I honestly can't think of a better way to spend a random Wednesday night!

We were impressed by our meals: the flounder, seafood spaghetti, calamari, chocolate mousse cake, and key lime pie. In fact, my husband said it was the best key lime pie he's ever had. He didn't use the marinara sauce that came with the calamari for dipping, but he ended up eating the sauce separately with a spoon because it was that good. He had a shiraz (okay, two glasses) and I enjoyed a prosecco (also two glasses). This place is a gem tucked away in an unassuming strip mall and absolutely worth seeking out. The service was efficient, friendly, and welcoming.

Idylwood Grill was disappointing from the start. The front window and vertical blinds were visibly…read moreunkempt, which set the tone for what followed. The food felt largely pre-prepared rather than made with care. The calamari had the texture and uniformity of frozen, breaded product, paired with bottled sauces. We shared the "Bayou" tortellini, which came across as bagged pasta with sliced chicken sausage in a flat, unseasoned tomato sauce. The name oversells what is, in reality, a very basic dish. Dinner rolls also seemed pre-made, though at least served warm. The interior feels dated and could benefit from a refresh, both aesthetically and in overall attention to detail. The service was OK, though our guest ordered a club soda and received a tonic water. When this was pointed out, the server brought a can of club soda out with a new glass and placed it on the table. Not the experience we expect. There's potential here, but it would require a meaningful shift toward fresher ingredients, more thoughtful preparation, and a clearer sense of identity in the menu. As it stands, there are better options in the area.

The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to answer all of our questions, which made the experience even more engaging. She also came up with some really fun games that helped everyone interact and made the tour feel very lively and memorable. I've lived in Northern Virginia for almost 30 years and have always been fascinated by Koreatown, but this tour gave me a whole new appreciation for it. The food was fantastic, and the overall experience was fun. You can really tell this is a great, well-run business--the owners clearly care about creating a high-quality and enjoyable experience for everyone. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, whether you're local or visiting. We are already planning to do it again for a birthday celebration!

Met a lot of fun people, and it was a nice way to have some good conversations. The food was amazing. I thought it was just going to be some little pizza bites and snacks, but it was an amazing spread. I thought the pizza was very good but I really liked the lasagna and ziti in little cups. And I am a big fan of chicken wings - I thought these were awfully darn good. Thanks to everyone for organizing and attending such a wonderful event.

So much delicious pizza. My favs were the Gnarlic and the Dirty bird. Ooo and their sodas were so good. Who knew that root beer and anise flavors married together so well? Or what about a milky/creamy cream soda that kinda smells like buttered popcorn? It was good! Then we got to try a festive berries and cream dessert pizza which was by far my favorite thing of the night! Totally what I'm coming back for! ;) I also got to meet so many cool local Yelp Elites which is always one of the best parts of these social events! Thank you so much to Mike B., Yelp, &Pizza for such a wonderful event! Looking forward to attending more sweet NOVA YE events in the future. :)
