Terrible, they sent 3 different techs out here. Everyone of them had a different assessment, after 3 weeks they conned us to the point of us feeling like we broke the unit. I have their maintenance plan and they were not upselling me or anything just came in and made sure our HVAC is ready for winter (twice a year plan). Also, our technician put on booties every time came into our home so he wasn't tracking dirt in our house (which appreciate since we don't wear shoes in our home either). read more

Amazing company. They had my air back on fast. Very professional, very polite, hard working. Well recommended this company to anyone I know.

I knew that Tyson was a local company and wanted to give them a shot. Next time, I'll be sure to use professionals. The gentleman that came out touted his 39 years of experience, yet he was new to Tyson. Either way, $900 later with a new blower and control board. My AC was fixed. This was in July. Come October, it starts to get chilly and we go to turn out heat on to find it doesn't cut on. Our AC is working and is blowing out air. So I go into the attic to look at the furnace. The old control board was left mounted there and the new board was mounted right above it, wires everywhere. It was a horrible mess. I'm technologically inclined, so I noted that 120v wire wasn't even plugged into the board for heat. What? I call Tyson up for them to come clean up their mess. They said it was a separate problem and needed to be looked at. I called Morris Jenkins instead. True professionals who fixed the issue within the same day I called and were able to see the corners cut by Tyson. Tyson also left an annoying sticker on the outside of my house where the power goes into the outside AC unit. Who does that? read more

Literally the worst. They were sent to our home on a warranty call, replaced our thermostat with one that isn't 100% compatible with our system (we didn't know this at the time) because according to them "the model we had is no longer available". Great, so then when the season changes our air conditioning doesn't work and heat blows out instead of cold. They come for a service call because we are confident this is due to the thermostat change. Upon their review, we're told we have a part that needs replacing that will cost $1,300 PLUS THE SERVICE CALL FEE. Not to mention our system is under warranty and that's JUST LABOR - what?! Second opinion comes in - tells us about the thermostat we used to have still being available, that this one doesn't work right with our system, that Tyson left a bunch of wires disconnected and shoved back into our wall, AND that there is nothing wrong with the parts. Now it's going on at least a week and a half of them saying they are going to refund us for the money we have paid them for the service calls, and no one will refund the money. I've had to call on a daily basis, and every time I either get voicemail or "you're next on the list when they're in tomorrow" or "my kid was sick so i left early" or "our phones were down" or some other BS excuse. This is so ridiculous, they are so unprofessional, fraudulent, and irresponsible. JUST DON'T. read more

I was referred to this company by my home warranty company (Sears) to repair my A/C Unit. A technician was sent out on 6/26/17 to diagnose problem. It was determined that the blower motor and the condenser motor were inoperable. The technician indicated that he would put in order for parts, and someone would call me to reschedule actual repair once parts arrived. Well, here it is two weeks later....AND, despite SEVERAL calls to Tyson (who stated for a week straight they were still waiting for parts) I still am without A/C on the lower level of my home. I contacted my warranty company, and they indicated that parts were ordered/shipped (also, called and looked up Kelvinator to verify availability and price of parts) and I should be receiving a call from Tyson (Marshann from S. I did not receive a call....so I called Tyson myself. I was told that a call was placed to/message left for me at 810a.....no record on my call log/vmail inbox. In any case, I was scheduled for today (7/12/17) 9a-11a. I have been home all morning an no technician has arrived(1110a). I've called Tyson x2 and lines are going to vmail. At this point, I'm utterly disgusted ,with both Tyson and my home warranty company, as it is clear that they HWC doesn't do a thorough check of service providers. Update: called from a 2nd line. Meghan stated that she called and left vmail. Amazing my phone doesn't ring when they call. Then stated my service call is for Friday AND not today!! I'm a business owner my self and write EVERYTHING down! I cleared my entire morning to be home today! Definitely getting the run around!! If you are referred to Tyson by a warranty company....DO NOT accept! Ask for another company, unless you have time to waste!! read more

Tyson has done a great job on our HVAC system for years. They have worked hard this year with my home warranty company to have both of our A/C units replaced, which was GREAT! On the first unit replacement, the owner came out to do the install...it made us feel very special. Also Megan is the BEST! Always there to listen on behalf of Tyson! If you want great customer service and professionalism, I would definitely NOT recommend Tyson. They take forever to get back to you on repairs, cancel appointments, fix units that are not broken, and do not know the meaning of customer service. The 2 men that work on the units are nice, but Tammy, the lady that handles the phone can be extremely rude. She screens calls, and argues with clients when work is done incorrectly. I had the worst experience with this company recently. They ended up fixing the problem after a HUGE mix up - fixing a unit that wasn't broken - but the customer service was no where to be found. I never received a call, an apology, NOTHING! I will never recommend this company to ANYONE! read more

Worst and rude communication ever, 2-10 home warranty referred Tyson service to fix my AC due to other services unavailable. The receptionist lady handles the phone is extremely rude and no help at all. Never use them I have been waiting 2 hrs past their appointment. They keep saying they are on their way. Never use them.

We moved into our house 14 months ago and almost immediately ran into an issue with our upstairs HVAC unit: it wasn't cooling well. If we set to 73, the temperature would reach 78. Luckily we purchased a home warranty through Old Republic. Upon our first uncomfortable night last summer we called OR who then deployed Tyson. Last summer they charged our refrigerant twice and we paid ~400 dollars for a leak sealer though they claimed they couldn't find a leak. This spring, we ran into the same issue and there are four separate instances that Tyson deployed someone who claimed they couldn't find a leak. We felt like we were going crazy. As the season changed to summer the line we were fed is that any unit would have trouble holding temperature in summer temps. The problem is that both of our units were replaced in 2011 and our downstairs unit holds any temp we set it at regardless of the outside temp. Last month Tyson sent someone who barely understood English and as I tried to explain the situation he stared blankly and only recharged my refrigerant upon my persistent request. I spoke with Tysons office manager and she assured me that if my issue wasn't fixed this time, she would send her "best guy". (This is after 4 separate people had been over)A week later the same issue reoccurred. We scheduled an appointment and instead of their "best guy" they sent the same guy who barely understands English. He spent 15 minutes wandering around and assured me there was no leak, this time no refrigerant recharge... Last week we had OR deploy another company for a second opinion. The new company evaluated the upstairs unit and a) noticed someone had torn our duct work b) found a leaking coil immediately. They stated that they could not understand how any one could've possibly missed such an obvious leak...The good news is that this new company will finally fix our issue 14 months after we first reported. The bad news is that we're waiting for the part to be ordered, it's 82 upstairs in my house and I had to buy multiple fans to ensure my children can sleep relatively comfortably. If you want your heater to work do not call these people! They installed my heater two days ago and now it doesn't work. They actually came earlier today to fix it. That worked for a while, but when I came home the heat was not on! I tried getting in touch with customer support but I get nothing! Upstairs heat went out so put in claim with my home warranty company. They called within a couple of hours and scheduled to come out the next which was pretty good since we had a cold snap so I'm sure they were busy. They had to order a part for the furnace - it came in next business day and the promptly called to schedule the install for the next day. Called when on the way and gave 2 hour window which I is remarkable. Tech was polite and got the job done quickly. Definitely recommend. read more

terrible communication and terrible service. they chose to represent our warranty company and when i had a claim it took a month and half to get new unit installed which they blamed on warranty company. that claim turned out to be false. had to call every time to push it along and all i heard was excuses. had to ask them to call warranty company a couple of times and it wasn't offered although they represented them. water leak caused ceiling to crash in, which they said wasn't their fault through a nice spanish installer who could hardly speak english. or at least i think that is what he said. owners never even called to check on what happened with me after home office ceiling came to the floor. after all of this unit wasn't performing nearly as well as old unit. had another company come inspect their work and turned out installers never added any freon to unit above what came in unit so it was producing 1/10th of its ability. literally had to fire them and tell them i am done after giving several chances with calls and requests for help to have them provide service. Worst service experience in 20 years. I am an easy customer to who is easy to make happy. read more
