Now that I have a nice rhythm with Type A, I can safely say I immensely enjoy their services. Things got off to a rocky start primarily do to my schedule (I require very early classes). Nathaniel was super-accommodating trying to find the right trainer within the time restrictions. After going through 2 trainers in the first 2 months due to some mitigating circumstances, we were able to settle primarily on Fabian. Quite simply, he is a beast and great to work with. I highly recommend him for bodybuilding / weight training! My wife and I have also been working with Yessi for couples yoga sessions. She is an angel. Before the pandemic, when doing in-person sessions, my trainer Lexis was incredible - quickly assessed my levels, worked with me on my goals, got me onto a great program and was seeing results. When I began with the team, I was coming off of a lower back injury -- the, dedication and care that went into my personalized workout got me back in shape while strengthening my core and alleviating all pain. I was looking for a way to break up my boring routine in the gym, so I found Nathaniel through my apartment's community website. He does in-home training, which is extra convenient for both of us since we live in the same building and we just meet up in our downstairs gym. During our 45-minute sessions, we switch it up so many times that it goes by soo quickly! I love how he incorporates boxing into the routine too, since it helps me get some frustration out as well. I started working with Ruthy over 6 months ago for my wedding. She got me in amazing shape - I felt so confident and strong in my dress! I have continued working with Ruthy because I was so happy with all my progress. I work with a Ruthy 1-2x per week for 45 minutes at the gym in my apartment building. I initially signed up for the 21 day makeover because I needed to lose weight for an upcoming event. I was a little hesitant at first having a stranger come to my house but Nathaniel is so nice and friendly that those fears were swiftly dismissed. I found Nathaniel through my wife at the dog park. I knew I needed a jump start to getting healthy again. I did the 3 week intense 45 minute mini private boot camp. Not only was his programs unique, he would introduce new exercises to keep my mind and muscles from getting familiar. I loved the variety as my mind generally looks for ways to cheat and I never knew what to expect. I was a little nervous at first and didn't know how I was going to handle, but that disappeared in about 5 minutes in the first session.There is a lot of personal training out there, but let me say, you cannot compare apples to apples with Nathaniel and type A training. He is totally engaged in the training and really takes the time to understand your needs and the level you are at. He knows when to push and then when to back off. Training with Nathaniel has turned around my life and quicker than I ever expected. He's the best! I just started graduate school, which requires me to sit long stretches, that coupled with being a big snacker just started to catch up with me this fall. Nathaniel to the rescue is all I have to say. I love his program because the work outs are short (you can choose 30 or 45 minutes) and super high intensity. My time is tight and he makes sure every minute counts. I also love the versatility of the program-- we can meet in home, in a gym or in the park, it's always a challenging and fantastic workout. He employs a lot of different modalities, in focused circuit rotations, so it is never, ever boring. You can, on a given day, box, strength train, and/or run interval sprints. You will never regret this time, LESS THAN AN HOUR, and you know you have done an amazing thing for yourself. I know I'm not only healthier and have shed pounds (my original goal weight seems like chump change now!), but I also generally feel happier and less stressed. Nathaniel has been my trainer for over a year. I have worked with many trainers in the past and he is by far my favorite. I had tendonitis in my foot after running a marathon and even though I was limited with an injury he modified my workouts so we could continue to train around it. He always takes an inventory of how I am feeling, how I have recovered from prior workouts, and my fitness goals in order to keep the workouts on target. What I think sets him apart is that he continues to push my limits. He just instinctively knows when I have mastered a particular exercise and modifies it to make it a bit more challenging so I never plateau and our workouts are never stale. I'm doing things now that I never thought I could do plus I dropped a whole jean size just a few months after we started working out together!!! Plus when we are not training he will send along resources, articles, training ideas which I really appreciate. He also has always been able to work with my schedule and meets me at my home or gym which is really convenient. After reading incredible reviews about Type A training, I contacted Nathaniel. The day I got post -natal clearance from my doctor to workout, I was ready to embark on the baby weight loss journey. From the first day, Nathaniel was encouraging but at the same time intense. We reviewed my goals and all that I wished to accomplish with our sessions. Nathaniel went above and beyond, sending me helpful diet tips and workout schedules when I was traveling. He is pretty amazing. I am just stunned by the way my body has been sculpted. The workouts go by fast and it never seems that two sessions are the same. My husband was the first to recognize the changes in my body and that was after only 2/3 weeks of working out with Nathaniel! It has been close to a year now and I must say that Nathaniel is the best!!!!
