France isn't the only country doing crepes right, because this little truck produces the kind of crepes that go above and beyond what you thought crepes were possible of, jolting every single taste bud in your mouth. Seriously, they're that divine. The savory are traditionally Ble Noir or buckwheat flour sans which are conveniently GLUTEN FREE for any intolerance & the Sweet are Froment or the traditional white flour batter although the duo who run the roving joint are as sweet as their crepes and more than accommodating. I have a gluten troubles, so I asked for a Chocolate banana crepe to be made with Ble Noir adding almonds. I lived in France, and this was by far the best crepe I'd ever had. Not too eggy, or chewy, a buttery combination of both sweet and salty, a perfect crisp, smothered with real dark chocolate and crispy toasted almonds. My boy opted for the home-made caramel au beurre sale crepe with traditional froment batter. I had to admit his was even better than mine, and mine was already exceptional. The froment batter if you can handle it, really is the way to go for the sweet. They're on wheels so check their facebook or website to see where their parked for the day. Their crepes and the owners = BIG smiles and all your crepe dreams come true. read more

I love it!! Definitely worth a try if you like crêpes. Worth the trip to the flagey market ( less people on Tuesday when they are square meus). And the couple who owns the truck is super friendly!!! read more

I love going to the market on Mondays and getting a galette or a crepe from this food truck. I think their products are delicious and reasonably priced, and the man who runs the business is refreshingly friendly and generous. I highly recommend having a galette with egg, chevre and tomato, with a mug of cider, and then a crepe with their home-made caramel au beurre sale. Really fantastic. read more

But at "Le Kalu" they did. And I have to thank the Afro-Caribbean's for that! It's a feeling that conveys, "you and your food are safe here". Now, I do feel like the presentation of the food took the food truck metaphor a bit too far. I prefer a bit more whimsical sight of my food, but that didn't make it any less delicious! Spicy, hot, fuego chicken wings: perfect during this fight against "The Disease No One Wants To Hear About Every Again". Not like I'm used to, but still good. And it's always a good idea to try out "not like I'm used to"-places!
