They play really loud wind/wave sounds to block out the noise but if you have someone entering or exiting next to you, you can still hear them. Conversation is definitely not ideal. I didn't like that so much, not because I like conversation during a massage but because I prefer it quiet and other people coughing and moving around messed up a bit of the zen. Otherwise, the furniture is new, the place is clean, and the bedding nice and crisp. My masseuse was the best, as always.. (shout out to Ricardo!!) Overall, location was alright - there's a hospital parking lot in the back in case you can't find any on the Main Street cause it gets pretty busy in the area. This place is one of those which take membership for monthly service in order to save money.. but they run more expensive than the last place I went, especially when everything is an add-on cost. I hate that they nickel and dime everything and there's only 50/80 min options.

It was then that I started calling Paradise Spas for delivery. It is now April 14th, and I CANNOT get anyone to give me a delivery date. Well, okay, all sales are final, but then a PRODUCT is typically given for a sale. They took our money, and we sat without a hot tub for four weeks. This was not just for fun; my husband had seven knee surgeries, and the doctor said it would be good therapy for him, so there is that, too. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. I will update this review if and when I get the tub or my money back.

Blossom Massage has all those, and has been around for a decade-plus with a great reputation. Dunno WHAT took me so long to check them out, but I recently bought a couples massage (which included all-day pool access) as a Christmas gift for my beau. We planned on getting there an hour before our massage to enjoy the hot tub (they requested that we call ahead to let them know and get the heat going). Our massage started promptly on time, and we both opted for deep tissue. I had Deanne, who specializes in Swedish and deep tissue massage (according to her bio on the website)... and let me say she has some STRONG hands. She found all my tension and pain-points and loosened me up. I was honestly a bit sore for days, but in a good way. A great reminder I need to take care of my body post workouts and after long days at the desk... My biggest feedback for them would be to have more info on their website about the pool access and what's offered (towels, robes) and how long we have pool access (it's all day, btw). Before booking, I had to call to get that info; it's be more convenient to add all of that info to their FAQ page. They also allow you to bring snackies, so I brought a fruit, cheese, and tinned fish spread. Also, wondering if they had hot tea service. That's always a nice touch post-massage. Looking forward to booking again!

I've had an appt for 5pm today booked for a couple of months now, but when I checked in, I was informed that my appt slot was canceled because the therapist didn't show up today. I never received a call or anything, which apparently was a miscommunication between the therapists & their manager. I was sad at first, but Rubye (who checked me in) came to my rescue & offered to take me in after her client. It took me 30 min to get here, plus I didn't have anything to do, so I opted to wait for Rubye. While I was waiting, everyone was so sweet & kind. Kept checking to make sure I was okay, & one of them (a lady) offered me a mimosa & an array of goodies because of the inconvenience caused, even though I was perfectly fine! Btw, the 1.5 hour long wait was TOTALLY worth it! Rubye works wonders. I didn't realize how tense my shoulders were, but she worked them out & they're much better. I got a Groupon for the Pure Bliss package, so I got a facial & a 60 min massage. It was so relaxing that I fell asleep during the massage, & I dreamt that I was falling ... which meant I jerked awake, startling Rubye ): so sorry! But hey, I was so relaxed to the point that I was dreaming, so it's a good thing in my book! Hopefully I didn't snore ... Soooo overall: very clean, relaxing ambiance, friendly staff, AMAZING massage. They were hard to get a hold of via telephone, but I have Rubye's business card, so calling for an appt shouldn't be so hard now ^__^ I hope they resolve the miscommunication soon -- I got lucky, but others may not be as lucky. I'll definitely be back after finals week! :D

Although I understand that was out of there control, what they had total control over is they way they handle the cancellations. Karen, was not only rude to me and would not let me speak, but she was very unapologetic. I had also made reservations to complete my "relaxing stay-cation" at a very expensive hotel, which now I can't cancel. Karen would not even let me speak, it got to the point where I had to ask her to stop talking please, because I was at this point not comfortable using them anymore and requested a refund. The very opposite of a clam, relaxing, hospitable experience....and I never even got to visit the place. However, they way they handle their first impression to their clients probably reflects the experience I would have had this Friday.

Everyone in our group was very satisfied with our massages afterwards and feel like we want to go to more Thai massage places now. I am just sad that this place is not near where I live and that we just went here on vacation. I made a reservation ahead of time for us all via phone and had to put a 50% deposit down to book. Both times I tried calling, they answered right away; no issues with communicating & with questions I had. When we first entered, they had us fill out some forms, which asked us about things like injuries, pregnancy, where we wanted focused areas. I don't believe my masseuse read the form because she asked me before my massage started where I wanted focused areas, but this wasn't a huge issue for me. I was just curious what was the point of asking it on the form if they didn't look at it; maybe they did & she just wanted to confirm, I'm not sure. At the beginning of my massage, she asked me if stretching was OK, what I wanted focused on, and confirmed I didn't want her to step on my back, which I appreciated all of these being asked. She did stretch me with my permission, which was amazing & exactly what I needed. She made sure to also confirm the pressure of her massages were okay with me as well a couple of times during the massage. Some of my friends got warm beds. Unfortunately, mine wasn't and my room was pretty cold. When the blanket was moved from my body, I was pretty cold. This is probably my only complaint about the entire experience. I definitely want to come back if I'm in the area again.
