I tried it on inside and easily made the choice bc there were only two left. This store has tons of cute items like shorts, t-shirts, sweaters, jeans, dresses, tanks, tops, shoes, jewelry, stickers, even cups and hats. They even had a super small sale section in an upstairs annex as well as a rack out on the sidewalk with items discounted. The following day - before we went for a hike and headed out of town - my friend and I walked by on our way to coffee and I saw the dress I had purchased not more than 24 hours before discounted by 20%. I grabbed it and took it inside and asked the gal behind the counter if I could get a price match since I had just bought the exact dress. She said when they have two items or less they do that... they had two when I bought mine. She said she'd have to ask the manager/owner and I said, "Please do". Fortunately, she was right around the corner and she came over and easily said, "Of course I'll do that" and they refunded me $25. She was so nice. She said she totally understood and she was going to wear the same dress to a wedding that weekend. So friendly, and such an easy thing to do. Highly recommend. I went into a few of the other shops while here and no one was as easygoing and friendly as this shop.

I didn't experience high pressure sales, or over complimenting, or disinterest and frustration when I didn't purchase the things I tried on. Not all high end boutiques have these characteristics. However, I have experienced a combination of the above mentioned subtle behaviors that come with trying on outfit after outfit and not buying. I tried on 6 things and didn't like how they looked on me. They suggested one shirt which I loved and purchased. I also looked at their children's clothing and although they had an adorable selection, they didn't have the exact sizing of baby clothes for the type of weather the baby would need to wear at their particular age. I ended up purchasing two things out of the guilt I felt in spending hours there and not really buying any high ticket items. I cannot purchase a $900 dress I don't love. Out of guilt, I bought two baby things that were not the aesthetic of the parents I was buying for but as everyone knows when you are exhausted new parents, style becomes less of a priority. Today as I was talking through the woods with my family I was speared by a dry branch. It hit the toe of the shoe then went up and over it. About four inches of it was lodged under the side flap and against the tongue. It never touched my flesh and the dust from the impact wiped away without a trace. When I got to the store a woman was working and when I went to give her my application, she actually had the audacity to THROW it back at me amd say they weren't hiring! I continued down main street and stopped at pollux and the woman inside that store told me I should apply at hypoxia because they were hiring! I was shocked to hear that after the horrible way I was treated when bringing in my resume. Every other place I've ever applied at has at least taken my resume to be polite.
