Catering service was recommended by a co-worker. Tried lunch special at Two Sisters Café - Awesome! I assumed all their food was Awesome, NOT! I contracted them to cater our Veterans Day lunch and I was disappointed. I liked their customer service and loved their signature grits and greens. The chicken was tender and the mashed potatoes were good. On the flip side, they were late and we were missing items: lemonade, ice and gravy for the mashed potatoes. Overall the food was bland, green beans and yams very bland like straight out of the can, pork tenderloin was dry (hard to cut even with a knife) and their homemade rolls were obviously not fresh because they were hard. They serve better rolls at #Corkys. I will visit the café for their lunch specials, but it's doubtful I'll be using them for future corporate catering events. read more

Two Sister's did such a great job for our company lunch event that served 68. I ordered the fajita bar and chicken enchiladas. The food was delicious! Everyone gave it a thumbs up and raved about the chocolate cake! The order was delivered on time and Angie was so professional and organized that setup was quick and simple. Two Sisters used to be a great place to eat but they have gone downhill. The restaurant area is run by a bunch of teenagers. I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a lightly toasted croissant roll and received it on a burn croissant roll along with a cup of tomato basil soup which was tomato basil paste. The soup was so thick that it could be used as a dipping sauce. I had finished eating my meal and 45 minutes later my husband still had not received his hamburger so we asked for a refund on his meal. The order was ready when I and my friend Patience arrived to pick up the cake. We walked in and she brought the cake out, it was a full-built tiered cake which was not what I had ordered or advised in the email order. She said I'm so sorry you did state that you wanted the 12 and 10 stacked, and the 8 and 6 inch separate. She asked what time I needed the cake by and I advised by 1:00 PM at the latest and that we would have no one there to decorate or deal with the cake after 3:00 PM. She advised that they would have the cake delivered to the venue which was Greens at North Hills Country Club in Sherwood, at 1:00 PM. 1:00 PM comes around and they are still not there with the cake. I called her and she said that they are still working on it. She called about 1:30 PM and said they were on the way. They show up about 1:45 PM and all of the layers were separated. I advised that it is still not correct and that the 12 and 10 inches needed to be stacked. She and a younger girl left again with the cake. I advised once more that we have to have the cake back ASAP. They did not show back up with the cake until 3:30 PM and I did not have time to deal with it anymore since my hair and makeup artist was already there. I had to apologize and let them know I would be right back to deal with the cake. Which I should have not done. The cake was finally correct but not until much later than the agreed-upon time. There was no one there to help with the cake or anything. I had previously stated that multiple times. I paid over $400 for hair and makeup to be done and for me to put them on hold so I could deal with the cake, is unacceptable. We are requesting at least 30-40% of our total price refunded back to us. The office manager refused any type of reimbursement and advised that because I accepted the cake at the end of the day, there is no refund. After I explained everything. She would not give me a mailing address or the owner's name or information. I called the office manager again and got into an argument with her and I demanded the owner to contact me. A few hours later I got a call from "the owner" who did not give me her name she said times are hard and we already are struggling to make a profit off these cakes. She said she will have to talk to her partner and give me a callback. I never heard back from anyone. We have also filed a complaint with the Attorney General and are in the process of filing a claim in small claims court. read more

First, they close at 7:30 pm not 8:00. Call for a to go order after 7:30 your out of luck. Now, if you call for the daily 'specials', call before 7:00 pm. They're often out of these items by then. And last, check your order prior to driving away. Seems they struggle to get the right combination of the two sides ordered correct. And cornbread, forget it, expect a roll,,,other than this the plus is they don't require signing the cc receipt, or fill in a tip. As none is earned. read more

I'm so sad! I've used two sisters catering for years. When it was time for a retirement luncheon for our beloved office manage my FIRST call was to two sisters catering. I wanted an assorted sandwich tray and a salad. I had a long conversation with the catering rep about the sandwiches. Due to religious restrictions there could be no pork products. We settled on chicken salad, turkey and roast beef sandwiches. I never got another call until the very nice delivery lady called me to tell me she had arrived. When I opened the trays I found turkey on rye and chicken salad on RYE! It was trays of BROWN. There was no roast beef. I quickly tried to call back the delivery lady as I thought she had forgotten to give them to us but got no answer. I then called the catering rep to be told they decided NOT to send the roast beef I ordered because they didn't have the right bread. I place this order over a week ago. There was plenty of time to get the " right" bread. They clearly ( I hope) didn't send the right bread with the chicken salad because it was awful on rye bread. 3 of my partners didn't eat at all because they don't eat rye bread. There was no other option. Certainly not the spirit of an assortment of sandwiches. Honestly, it was so unappealing. I was completely embarrassed. They were barely touched so I'm throwing out trays of brown sandwiches. This may sound a bit dramatic but that is the only retirement luncheon I will ever get to have for a person I love who has worked so hard and deserved the best. Everything you do in life matters. This was a very important luncheon to me. I deserved a phone call when someone took it upon themselves to change my menu. read more

This place catered my daughter's wedding in Hot Springs. They showed up with WHITE GRAVY for roast beef!!! I found out too late to do anything about it. The ironic thing is that I stressed to the consultant how important the gravy was! They were frustrated at the fact that their upselling was rejected and we were clear on what we wanted. I genuinely feel that they intentionally threw the gravy thing. I mean, how the hell does that happen?? Ruined the reception. read more

Totally dropped the ball on a large breakfast catering order! We ordered breakfast for around 40 people at our office. The food was supposed to have arrived around 6-6:15am. They were a NO SHOW!!! We looked like idiots when we told the entire staff to show up hungry on Monday. All we got was "I am sorry that our breakfast crew dropped the ball on you." We show it was on the books for you, but we are so sorry. Nothing else!!! Did not even offer to get back on the books for a discount or how can we make this up to you. I was also told that they typically do not do large breakfast orders for that time of day on Monday. Very sad that they do not realize that we place around 3-4 large orders per year for the last 3 years for $500-$800 each time! Also, each time we order, it is for breakfast and always on Monday's. Customer service has definitely gone down hill! Good luck with large orders! We will be looking elsewhere for a new catering company! read more

Well prepared and cooked Southern home cooking gourmet style. I thought the company did a good job of providing veggies- at least for a southern restaurant. (I'm answering a post below complaining of a southern food style restaurant not providing vegan/vegetarian options). I thought the green beans were great and the provided salad was very fresh greens with excellent ranch dressing. The mashed potatoes were some of the best I've ever had-- but definitely not vegan. If you're a vegan in the South, you're generally gonna have problems anyway especially somewhere that specializes in Southern Home Cooking. (reformed vegan speaking here from experience). I planned my brother's wedding from up in NY, and picked Two Sisters Catering from a list online of caterers I found in the area. We ended up doing a brunch reception after an early ceremony. The food was delicious, but we ran out of the biscuits. It was my fault for not clarifying, but we had a headcount of 40 people, not all of whom had shown up, and the food was served buffet style. I assumed that there would be enough for a refill on the items, but didn't realize that there would be exactly the amount of portions as for the estimated people. I might just be used to the way buffets are done in my area for weddings. The service was great, fruit platter perfect, and food delicious. Price was also within budget for my brother and sister in law, and the cupcakes we got were delish too! read more

The food is fine (what I've been able to eat of it) but as far as catering to the needs of the customer, they're lacking. The company I work for actually has used them for actual catering a number of times and being a vegetarian (and not the only one in my office) I've been greatly disappointed. They won't do a single thing to accommodate for people who don't eat meat. We just had their taco bar which is mainly beef, rice and cheese dip/chips. I asked our office manager if they'd provided a veggie option (beans... how hard is it to make beans to go with tacos??) -- why I felt hopeful I don't know -- she said she'd asked and the answer was pretty much "we don't do that." This is certainly not the first time I've been sorely disappointed with a catered meal from them (mostly I just grab my own lunch when I hear they're catering) but it just boggles my mind that they can't be respectful enough of their customers needs to be a little flexible. I've been assured we won't be using them again and I certainly won't ever visit their cafe. If you're a happy mean eater go crazy, I guess, as long as you're cool with a company that doesn't really understand customer service. read more
