I called the office about the issue and wanted a discount! There was no prep work done before paint. No patching, no removal of the remaining hardware/hooks, overspray on the bamboo blinds (easy to remove with 2 wind nuts), and ceiling fans. They didn't clean the doors before painting, so they are orange peeled and peeling off. You can see where the trim paint pearled off when they removed the tape form.around the handles and they "touched up" with a brush. The flooring was jacked. To tight around the room and didn't put the flooring under the doors but around it. We tried to have them come and help fix it. But they were not interested. Really sad, we wanted to see them do good, we have so many more projects we need done too! Get referrals from friends, not ppl selling themselves on nextdoor or facebook!

He burned through that money quickly and insisted on more money and time to continue working. We had a serious heart to heart talk and he promised he would complete the original work that was requested while both of us knew he had received way more money than work that was done. He lied to me in telling me that he had already bought all the paint, cabinets, doors, and all trim with the money we had given him. After paying him $40K which was the full original quote, he no longer showed up to the job and would not take my calls. We had to engage another contractor to pick up the absolute mess that he created and ended up paying another 40K to finish the project. I feel very strongly that Jacob Harris stole about $35,000 from my wife and I. I would never consider using JM Handy Services or Jacob Harris for anything! The quality of the work that was done by JM Handy Services was poor at best and had to be redone by the next contractor. NEVER HIRE JACOB HARRIS OR JM HANDY SERVICES FOR ANYTHING!!!
