Given the price points of some of the items, I would never just take the plunge and buy something without confirmation if for someone else. Another reason it seemed crazy to me was because the most if not all the items weren't one of kind. Maybe a piece of art here or there but they had Burt's Bees items which is sold everywhere and multiple numbers of same items, books, etc. The shop was very cute and I did like several items in there for gifts but did not make any purchases.
