Maybe they were short staffed and they threw her on the floor. I felt I could have done just as good if I went to Walmart and did it myself. As a shoe store that doesn't keep all sizes available, this should be the one thing that their employees are good at, but I guess not. Instead of being treated with basic respect, & decency he was publicly and falsely accused of stealing. The way your staff handled this situation was rude, humiliating, and completely unprofessional. There was no attempt to calmly clarify the misunderstanding, no respect shown, and afterward there was not even an apology offered for the embarrassment caused. Being falsely accused in front of others is degrading and unacceptable, especially when we were legitimate customers actively shopping and making a purchase. We understand stores need to prevent theft, but that does not justify treating customers in an inhumane or accusatory manner without facts. Situations like this should be handled with discretion, professionalism, and respect -- not public humiliation. We expect acknowledgment of how poorly this situation was handled and an apology for the false accusation and embarrassment caused to our family.

Shopping at Perspicasity was a highlight of my trips to the Florida panhandle, so much fun to be outdoors, right on the beach, and to move among the little booths, each with something different, and always an unexpected jewel. I never failed to find items I wouldn't see elsewhere. The new Cabana is just another clothing store. Might as well shop in a mall.
