And though she's been in Tallahassee for over ten years now, when she opens her delightfully funny mouth to speak, out tumbles west Texas. She's a grandmother who is in a motorcycle gang [okay, group] and belongs to a water aerobics group called the Clownfish Asylum. To a hushed crowd that laughed and cried with her, she read short selections from her books and autographed copies. More local authors are to follow.
